Wasn't too much more than an impact player at the end, albeit a ridiculously effective one for that league. Missed more than he scored/hit more shit crosses than good ones/frustrated completely etc.

Know someone who works at the club.
-
Any comparison in terms of ability/reputation with Papa Waigo N'Diaye who was on loan there last season?
-
Yeah, probably. Wondered who he is/whether he'd work in League One tbh.
-
I vaguely remember him for Empoli. Attacking midfielder, good passer and technique. Basically the archetypal European #10. Any reason ? In talks with an English club.
-
A lot of you watch obscure football, has anyone heard of Ighli Vannucchi?
-
Apparently we've agreed to sign Matt Phillips from Wycombe who's been doing ok in this tournament so far.
-
Pretty sure I described Mike Williamson accurately for you lot.
-
I heard that Blackpool were interested.
-
We had him on trial and were going to sign him for 50k this time two years ago. Instead we got Grzegorsz Rasiak on loan and couldn't afford him.
-
He played in every league game for Burnley last season.
-
Thought he was one of their better performers for part of the season at least... Aye, I seem to remember one game in particular where he was immense last year. Thought he was a regular. Wade Elliott was first-choice for them on the right.
-
That's why he's being sold for £1m? You couldn't buy Leon Best for that. I mean the whole 'if we're not in for him we should form a suicide pact' nonsense being spouted here. Not the fee.

Eagles is seriously overrated, he's decent enough, but so inconsistent.

If you treat it as 'Paul being right' against 'Paul not being right', it's essentially a coin-flip, as there's no accounting for a draw in the method of Paul's picking. It's not, since there are two possible instances of Paul not being right (opposition wins, game ends in a draw) versus one of him being right (team picked wins). The point is that the model through which Paul picks, has two outcomes (regardless of the games three possible outcomes), so it is as fair as a coin toss.

Don't know where you got that stat from. Assuming Paul's predictions were no better than fair coin flips, the probability of 12 or more successful predictions in 14 attempts is ~0.65%, as given by the binomial distribution. And the probability of 8 successful predictions out of 8 attempts is ~0.39%

Did the Watford fan actually see him play last season? Head and shoulders above anyone in the team from day one, similar age to Ashley Young making a big impact in the Championship, but in a worse side and a slightly different style of play (both team and player).
-
I reckon he can make it, serious. He'll only wait for so long though. Look at how good a player Guiseppe Rossi turned out to be for example! The whole homegrown nonsense coming through makes it seem to me as though SAF will treat him slightly differently.
-
He's dogshit.

More of a central/attacking midfielder I think, although I'm not completelty sure. He can probably play wide aswell. left winger according to fm but can play across midfield Never seen him play on the left. Played best on the right for us last season, played off the striker too, but wasn't as effective there.

Rob Kiernan, Michael Bryan, Dale Bennett, Eddie Oshodi, Marvin Sordell, Pierre Mingoia all highly rated and a few got minutes towards the end of last season. I like the look of Bennett, but have heard good things about the others, most are probably decent enough to make their way into the team in the same way Hodson and Jenkins have recently.
-
Insignificant player tbh. Always has been, last time I remember seeing him play was a league cup game against Accrington 4 years ago.

Sand-dancer perchance? YOU'RE SO FUNNY, WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A TV SHOW YET
