  1. I’ve always felt like was one of those “lucky to be there” squad player types. Bit like Mike Williamson. Been there too long and probably accepts whatever wages he’s given and never kicks up a fuss.
  2. Reckon Rob Holding doesn’t start for any club in the Premier League, maybe not even the top 10 in the Championship.

    Joe Willock

Arsenal sold him to us for 25 mil and bought that powder puff Fabio Viera for 35. Cheers, guys.

    Fabian Schär

Can’t believe he plays for us and we got him for the price and under the circumstances(Ashley FC) we did. Always felt like he was the type of defender Wenger would want playing in his back line. Props to the scouts that got him because he’s a gem of a player and a man.

He’s a better athlete than Mount. Better football IQ. Rice Bellingham Willock covers all bases for me with Joe the furthest forward. Sorry Jude but I see you as a 6 and not an 8.
  6. KT saying us and Atletico are the best fans he’s ever played for made me smile so much. Tottenham get fucked

I hope I'm not going above my station here but when I see Joe, I see a bit of that Lampard/Gerrard type of midfielder, it's just hard not to. The intelligence to be in the right place at the right time. The fact that he's always making himself available, making runs and drifting into different positions depending on how the same is progressing. Genuinely think he can be a consistent 6-10 goal scoring midfielder one he hits 26-27. He's already done in once and I have no doubt he can do it again. 8 goal contributions in 30 games this season with seven games left to play.
  8. Think Sanchez has more of a presence but still think they’ll lose here.
  9. That ball from Casemiro to Rashford was unreal.
  10. This Brighton striker is absolutely infuriating.

It’s hard to pick a favorite player in the team but I think he’s mine.
  12. He’s a shit pundit but an excellent story teller when he’s allowed to be himself as guests on other platforms like Carragher’s podcast, Crouchie’s podcast and some others Joe Cole’s iirc. For instance… posted yesterday. Stories you don’t hear everyday.
  13. Think someone(or many) mentioned it before but Vini Jr def a Ballon d’Or next two-three years.
  14. Champ’s League hangover? Benzema a year older, Modric a year older, Casemiro loss. Thcoumeni and Camavinga good but still young. Think they also gee themselves up more for the CL nights more than league games.
  15. Madrid’s squad depth is something serious. When I think squad player, I think John o’Shea and Wes Brown. These lot have Asencio and Vasquez who were happy to stick around when BBC was in full flow with Isco and James Rodriguez competing for places.
  16. Everyone defending City in the Other Games Thread yesterday needs to see this. But they’ll either be blind or ignorant to it.
  17. I don’t think I’ve seen a player as direct as Vini Jr. he’s lights out every time he receives the ball.
  18. Rather they did a two legged tie than the semis at Wembley. A semi final should not be given this much prestige.
  19. When Liverpool lost the title 08/09 I was actually upset, but that 2012 Aguero winner was a dagger to the heart because I grew up watching the Premier League and winning it was massive obstacle. What City are doing is an absolute joke. Was actually on Man United's side on that one because their success was organic.
  20. If anyone was gonna get the City money, it should have been us, Villa, Spurs, Everton, hell, even West Ham would have been easier to stomach. Ours feels a little more organic. We didn't go out and buy Robinho day one.
  21. Might be Stockholm syndrome but they were institutions based on years of history and success. City was just some billionaire pointing at a random place on a map and saying "yeah I'll have that". I'll never be on board.
  22. That'd be like us saying the Ashley era was a success because we stayed in the Premier League totally forgetting all the times we challenged for the Premier League and were in the Champions League.
  23. Don't understand it whatsoever. Same ones who call it the Emtihad and "Look at the amount of empty seats for a Champions League game"
  24. Come on Arsenal. Can't stand City.
