Two Italian teams in the 2003 CL final and in 06, they win the WC. 2013 two German Teams in the CL final, 2014 World Cup winners. we had two in the 2021 final and lost on penalties in the Euro final. I watch the Premier League every week, I know these players. I want them to win.

The only time I’ve seen a Spanish team lose a final to a non Spanish team in a European cup final was Valencia against Bayern Munich in 2001. I’m sure in happened in the 90s but my football knowledge doesn’t go back so far. They just always win.

I’ve never seen McTomminay do any of these things. If he isn’t scoring goals, I don’t know what he does. I genuinely believe he’s used as a body to make headed clearances for opposition corners.
