  1. Can’t tell you how much I hate this playing out from the back crap.
  2. Aye, you know what’s coming. The cunts.

65 was my bottom line. Walk away. Fuck ‘em.
  4. Great signing by Ipswich. Looking forward to seeing him play.
  5. Do you guys want to sell even if we don't get a replacement straight away? Just can't see transfer activity speeding up once the season starts.

This is fucking sick, like. They're gagging for Eze to leave and go to the likes of Spurs or City but god forbid Newcastle make a signing.

Just looked up what Atleti paid for Le Normand after his stellar Euro campaign - £30 mil.
  8. I think that's a shocking signing. Man Utd fans are so stupid, they're tying to justify the Berge signing by referencing Wijnaldum being with us despite the fact he scored 11 goals, came off a World Cup, where he scored, was quality at PSV and was our marquee signing ffs.

The good news is if I type his name into google all I see is NEWCASTLE!! NEWCASTLE!! NEWCASTLE!!
  10. Heard they want to sign Sander Berge.
  11. Never going to say Shola was the worst player at the club. My hope was he could pull off a 9 goal season every year due to his limitations but injuries got in the way. Either way, he should have been shifted in 2010. He was never going to live up to it.
  12. Sammy Ameobi. He wasn’t bad. Def worth a new contract at that stage and was quite the “man” in the Championship with whichever club he aligned himself to.
  13. It’s a tough one because the attacking play is brilliant but the defensive play is abysmal. If they could find the balance, it’d be perfect and exactly what football should be but I think it’s just in the DNA. I’ve seen bottom of the league Dutch teams go to a top three side, attack for 10 minutes, create a few chances but as soon as that one goal goes in against them, they don’t know whether to keep attacking or damage limitation. I don’t have enough expertise on the league to make a judgment. Is it an entertainment thing? Do Dutch fans demand attacking football no matter what the score is or can they appreciate the trying to keep the score down and can they get on board with their side accepting defeat and just try to keep it to a minimum on a defensive display. I feel like we one here know when we’re beaten and we don’t want to incur any further embarrassment where as you go to the the Dutch league and you’re seeing 8-0s on the weekly. I don’t know if it’s brave or stupid or both? I’m fascinated tbh as silly as that might sound.
  14. Oh i see what you did there, yea he did have a big ass. I remember saying that and catching pelters
  15. Loved 2003-2007 where we basically wore the same strip with just the Northern Rock and numbers being Gold instead of blue.
  16. So he was dumb and wasn’t equipped for the Premier League? Case closed. Anita - shit. Glad that one’s gone to rest.
  17. If you were on the forums, he was promised to be the start of the attacks, the man to take the ball off the defense, spray a pass to a player in an influential area and then win the ball back when we were under the cosh. He never did any of those. He was lost out there. 5.6 mil. Didn’t “mr press resistant technical footballer” lose the ball and end up costing us the game against Chelsea 2012-13. He didn’t have it. He never did.
  18. That doesn’t surprise me. Tried Dutch football last year and the amount of mistakes, errors was catastrophic. Had never seen football played so open, and not in a good way. Tactics completely out the window. It was like football out of a different dimension. and if you don’t believe me, this game was my reference point.
  19. I know youre trolling but based of what? We were promised an N’Golo Kante, what we got was a… I have no idea what he did. Zero. even Colback outperformed him. Check the stats.
  20. I even tried to give him a run out on my FIfa 07 save file. Didn’t even impress there.

That’s a tough one. Tomori really stood out when we faced them in the UCL. I shit myself anytime anyone got near him. Sensed danger two steps ahead of anyone on the field. If this goes through, we at least have the next big thing. Tomori is big four bound or even big club in Europe bound. AC Milan’s a stepping stone to him.

My guess, Tomori goes City in a year or two. Maybe Liverpool
  23. Hayden. Fighter on the pitch, left it all out there. Fill in multiple positions. Limited, yes but did what he could with what he had and what he had around him. Wish him well.
  24. Wor Jonjo. He’s gonna looked at as a joke after all the money came in but he was pivotal in the Champo season and his goals were instrumental in us staying up 19-20.
