You got this, mate! Cheering ya'll on!
-
I see it like Simone at Atleti. It was boring seeing Real and Barca winning all the time and it's refreshing to see something new.
-
Knew I'd get this but it truly was David vs Goliath stuff(10 men and 2-0 down at the Camp Nou against the greatest football team ever assembled with the addition of Sanchez and Fabregas from the season before, who looked like an absolute monster in that Barca team, especially that year). I'm also a Prem fan so it was nice seeing the likes of Drogba, Lampard, Cole(yea, even him), Ivanovic, Luiz and the like winning the trophy after failing so many times. And you have to factor 2009 in, Chelsea should have had about six penalties that game before Iniesta scored.

Absolutely! Two of the greatest games I've ever seen. Was beautiful to see Chelsea go through and win against the best team of all time, 10 men, the Ramires goal, Drogba going for goal from 60 yards out. Lampard was outstanding in those games. Dispossessing Messi, passing to Ramires who crossed to Drogba to finish. A real shame there's barely any angles of Lampard's pass to Ramires for his chip because it was a thing of beauty.

2012 Chelsea maybe then. Beaten by Napoli in the second round. Sacked the manager and the players took over. Only game they truly won comfortably was Benfica. Rode their luck against Barca in both legs. Think I remember Fabregas, Sanchez and Messi missing guilt edge chances in the first leg and same for the second with Messi missing a pen and same in the final, Robben missing a pen in ET. I quite liked that team, though, but they were VERY lucky to win it.

I get the Arteta hate but all that hokey light bulb crap, the histrionics on the sidelines has got him to become a Premier League champion. Took them from 8th to 1st. He did it. Was it likeable? no. But he did it.
-
Maybe 2024 if Dortmund took their chances? Also, low blocked against City in the semi, one long ball up to Bellingham and him, Vini and Rodrygo combined to score. Think in the press conference, one of the players said that City were the better team and they had to play that way to win.
-
They're unbeaten in the CL, topped the group stage with 24 points winning every game. Beat Bayern 3-1 and it was the correct result. They probably will lose but they might do it and tbh it'd be nice, Chelsea being the only London club to hold a UCL, much less two is grim. Much rather Arsenal.
-
They won it, they should have won it MUCH earlier and they deserve it. Their football is absolutely shit but in a way, I respect it. In a day when everyone’s trying to score the perfect goal, scoring a set piece is fine. You should always try to score from a set piece. Ok, a bit strange that it is their modes operandi but going up against Pep will do that to you. Also have to remember they won all eight of their Champions League group stage matches including wins over Bayern, Inter and pretty sure they beat Atletico 4-0 away so it’s not like they’re a bad team, just a bag of nerves when things really matter. Also a special mention for their social media following which I think turned their fortunes around 10 or so years ago. Squeaky wheel gets the grease and they squeaked and squeaked. Can’t see any of this happening if all their Youtube presence wasn’t there. They made sure to keep the standards up and there’s something admirable about that. Also, their fans were happy for us to break our trophy drought and I’m happy for theirs. Boring as fuck watching City win it every year. Let them have their moment.

Aftv guy reckons Tino’s off to Arsenal
-
The histrionics from Arteta celebrating that ffs.
-
Eight goals, four assists in this shower of shite, yes please!
-
So take it, we'd take no one from Burnley, like?
-
JWP def curling a free kick in on the 94th minute.
-
Simmons on VVD was less of a red than what Havertz did.
-
Exactly what I was thinking!
-
Extremely and we all know how they deal with nerves.
-
Arsenal not even pushing for another, matter of time till Burnley score.
-
How many players have gotten reds for challenges like that this season?
-
Gonna be a red. what a spak.
-
This is their tempo
-
I dunno, I thought Arsenal had it in the bag a few years ago against Southampton and they somehow fucked that up. They'll either fuck up today or against Palace, weakened Palace or not. Game was also at home and Soton were already relegated. Ramsdale two massive clangers

Hadn't realized Flemming for Burnley had 10 goals this PL season, worth a shout?
