Absolutely love him - knows his limitations. There was a moment in the Luton game where he was playing on the right wing. He received the ball, thought he might maraud forward and bring the play up a little, said fuck that, passed the ball back to Trippier and next thing I know he's left wing/CF slotting that goal away.
At current moment, he's played the second most passes in the PL, 100 behind Rodri. He looks like prime John Terry playing for Brighton. Not watching this game but hopefully he's playing well as I think him and Stones could form a formidable partnership.
Lewis Dunk has played the most passes in the Premier League, Brighton are the reference for what a football team should be according to every manager in the world(coaches’ Voice) and this fucking prick Maguire gets into the team ahead of him. I’m literally raging.
Here’s the thing, people are already dreaming of a Mainoo, Rice, Bellingham midfield. No one’s putting Elliot in their starting 11. They, as I, think he should be there based on merit but in the squad as an auxiliary player.
I personally never saw it in Jones. He was much injury prone from the moment his career started.
I’m hoping we can replicate what Germany did in 09 where six of their starting players in the u21 final went on to win the World Cup five years later.
