Faye and Diarra in. Solano out.

Not only that, but the fact he skinned to players for pace on the inside and just as he was about to shoot he got nudged by Boateng. Sheer class.

MOTD punditry tonight is shit.

Can't hear a thing on MOTD like.

I reckon we should email the FA demanding they look at the video evidence of Mido giving us the V
-
mackems.gif Chances of that being taken seriously? About a billion to one Jesus Christ on the proverbial bike. Even Mido was laughing at them. Some beasts need to get a life. Why are they getting all defensive if it isn't true?

on fmttm the smoggies are organising a petition to the FA, to demand we play behind closed doors

His confidence wont really matter for the next 6 months or so tbh.

I can see us being more of an "away" team now. When Sam was at Bolton, they always used to pick up many more away wins than most teams. The style we're playing now suits an away match, when opposition attack us, it leaves a lot of space in behind. Still think 442 is the way to go at home. Another thing about Bolton was that the Reebok was an absolute fortress. Get that back at SJP and we'll be a long way towards acheiving our goals, whatever they may be. Agree with you on 4-4-2 btw. Aye, they've rarely most more than three or four there in a season. Like you say, get SJP like that and keep the away matches as they are and we'll be there or there abouts in May.

Looked a good player, but quite expensive. Although I suppose when you look at the figures for mediocre English players... He's an excellent player. Bargain price considering what Reo-Coker and Parker went for. Don't think it's anything to do with funds, NSG. Didn't think so, was just a though. Would have been an excellent signing. Personally, I don't think Yakubu is the type of player you need. Not sure if he'd compliment AJ very well.

Need the money for Yakubu?

Interview with Zoggy on .cock now saying how much he's loving life at the Toon under Big Sam now.

He had a very shaky opening to the game but got stronger as it wore on and put in some good tackles/broke up play. Going forward though he was very good at times, if not a little hesitant which is perhaps a condition of his new role. He needs to play higher up in his best position because we lack ball carries and ball carriers can win you games or get you a goal, as Zoggy did today just by doing that - running at people with the ball at feet. Aye, was great to see him skinning Young a few times down the wing, rolling back the (two) years to his top form. Fingers crossed he can form a top partnership with Enrique down the flank.
-
To be honest, I thought Zoggy was poor in his defensive roll. Great to see him looking the bizz going forwards again though

.cock NEWCASTLE United owner Mike Ashley was in the stands cheering on the Magpies during Sunday's 2-2 draw with North East rivals Middlesbrough. The billionaire businessman, watching the Geordies for the first time, was even sporting his black and white colours complete with the name and number of one of his Toon signings - "Smith - 17". And United gaffer Sam Allardyce said afterwards that Mr Ashley certainly appeared to enjoy himself - especially given his celebration when Charles N'Zogbia opened the scoring in the first-half. "He appeared to have a good time, especially when the first goal went in, anyway," said Big Sam. "It was nice to see him here for the first time - and he hasn't tried to hide away because he was standing there with his Newcastle shirt on. "It's great to see him. There is obviously lots of speculation around what he is doing, but as far as I am concerned, with he and Chris, we are moving the club forward as quickly as we possibly can."

To be fair, racism isn't just skin colour. Using someones nationality in a derogitary way is racist. "you're just a fat Aussie Bastard" is also racism IMO.

Is that true? Our travelling fans were chanting that? Well, I don't blame him either then. It was a minority chanting the terrorist stuff but it was very audible. Notice how the TV haven't picked up on him giving some of our fans the V sign. Quickly changed it to the huntington-esque "i cant hear you" thingy, when we went mental at him.

Beyond a joke now. Especially NOTW.

Me too, purely because of where I live and the fact I get nervous before every game.
