  1. Idiots man. Some of our fans would rather have 'Curbs'
  2. This chap seems to fit the bill but I wont claim to know anything about him. Trying not to hope. Too many times we've been bent over. Wont happen. We'll end up with Curbishley.
  3. Little article on him from back in 2011: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/european/the-next-arsenal-manager-garde-giving-impressive-audition-at-lyons-2342617.html Sounds very promising. Too good to be true to be honest. Wont happen.
  4. Read somewhere his last game he played was at St James'.
  5. Ben Lyttleton ‏@benlyt 20m20 minutes ago L'Equipe: 'Garde to NUFC, hotting up'. Reports that Remi Garde now first choice to be #NUFC coach after Galtier & McClaren turned them down http://media.giphy.com/media/2GjgvS5vA6y08/giphy.gif
  6. That Barca match in 2010 man. Best football I've ever seen.
  7. Regardless of 'selling best players' the bit in bold would do for me. It'd be a refreshing change to listen to someone smart, knowledgeable and likeable.
  8. I broke my big toe when I was 17. Was playing football 4 days later again with no pain. Just depends on the break. No idea how he's not back yet mind considering we have "professionals" who deal with this type of thing.
  9. The rest of the season isn't pointless really. Carver isn't going to 'make' any of the current players a more valuable asset to then flog in the summer is he? They'd be better off getting someone in now, at least then they have a chance to increase the value of saleable assets such as Perez during the next few months, finish slightly higher up the table (not too high mind, none of this Europa League shite) to increase the TV/PL money too. Not forgetting Season Ticket renewals that happen to be at the end of January - which fetches in a nice continual revenue stream. Makes more financial sense for them to appoint half decent ala Southampton model - as soon as possible imo. Great opportunity to do so. Will they? Doubt it. ***note this is purely from the clubs perspective obviously.
  10. Best player on the pitch yesterday by a country mile. Not saying much, but only one trying to create/do anything.
  11. That, and with a little inside knowledge we know he was lined up a month or two before Hughton had been binned. Which made it even more infuriating that it was planned. Especially for someone so historically shite. Talking of which, where is the old thread. I want to find out what I posted at the time of his appointment.
  12. Golfmag says its done, its fucking well done. Any murmurs on a replacement yet?
  13. Not sure if it was mentioned yesterday, but the Program had zero mention of Pardew, even in a photo review of 2014. It's like he's been erased from any existence at NUFC. Wish I could erase 3 years of him from my memory.
  14. They were all "That looks canny" Silly question...what period do these stats cover? This calendar year?
  15. Looks like that arsehole Rob Shepherd is out with Pardew in Soho with some bloke who is measuring Pardcunt for a new suit... Inevitable.
  16. Hoyed money on Galtier. No idea why, just reckon it'd be him if anyone permanently. Seems to trust Carrs judgement and there's been too many links in the past 12months all from the French side of things.
