- Lille midfielder Yohan Cabaye will complete his move to St James’ Park when he returns from international duty, while The Journal understands that the club are edging closer to clinching a deal for a left-back and a striker.
- Top target Gameiro is now engaged on international duty but Newcastle hope to invite him to Tyneside for a tour around the club’s facilities when he returns from playing for France.
- They also retain an interest in Gervinho, but The Journal understands that there are reservations about bringing him to Newcastle because he is likely to have African Nations Cup commitments in the winter months for the next two seasons

Strange that.
I concur , Ben Arfa was going to be selected for France's Euro 2012 qualifiers back in September/October until that c*** De Jong snapped his leg.
He did get dropped BEFORE that incident. I forgot the reason though.
He played against Norway in August.
Sigurd Rushfeldt today became the all time top scorer in Norwegian football, scoring his 166, 167 and 168 goal. He scored his first goal 29 May 1992, and on the same date, 19 years later, he became the all time topscorer. What a man!
Mark Douglas does not have a clue.
Your right, it was not him breaking the story about Cabaye.
He merely reported what was being reported in France.
He broke the story last Sunday.
That's the spirit!
ah you know am right though.... you cannot tell me you honestly belie we are going to sign these players ?
Zoggy
Gamerio
Cabaye
Emana
Gervinho
Dont think anyone thinks that we will sign all of them, but 2 or 3 are realistic.
