There's a lot of bollocks talked by Rangers and Celtic fans (never Newcastle fans like ) but a Rangers fan told me the (now cancelled) friendly was part of the Cuellar deal. I'm still undecided about him, he plays in a 9 man defence so he's bound to look not bad, but he looked dodgy on Saturday. Suppose he isn't allowed a "dodgy" game out of the 64 he's played this year! IMO I think he'd be a great signing. Dont forget he's had to carry David Weir all year, and as i've said numerous times before, he is composed on the ball and is very rarely beaten in the air. Get him in...for the right price!

So.... Back to Arda Turan..... Scored a good header against Uruguay last night! Still got beat 3-2 though!

I seem to remember a certain Jean Alain Boumsong looking outstanding in the rangers defence a few years back, and he looked decent in Europe, but couldn't cut it in the EPL I have watched both play for Rangers and i can tell you Cuellar is a better player than Boumsong. Boumsong had problems with us, think his wife had/has cancer so a lot of his problems werent football related. Cuellar would be a great signing and think he could deal with the EPL. He has played in La Liga with Osasuna dont forget!

Yohann Pele is a Goalkeeper if i remember correctly!! Dunno why we'd be looking at him if we've got 4-5 reasonably good ones!

Yep, Garcia is pure class but i like him better on the wings then as a forward. Ayala, Garcia, Milito, Oliviera (owned by A.C), luccin, Mateulazm, and Aimar will all do a good job in the premiership. Was going to say Ayala but he is, what? 37? Milito was class last season too!

This He made his international debut at 18 i think and was very solid especially against Spain! Would be a great signing IMO and although he'd be another Man Utd cast off, this is one with a future!

Wankers are wankers Dave to be fair but for Greg to say "half" of the rangers supporters are "a fucking disgrace" is a little harsh! thats, approx 70,000 people with the current gathering in Manchester! Thats a hell of a fight! I just hate sweeping generalisations! Well that's a fair argument. My point was that it's naff all to do with English fans, and you shouldn't really be bringing them into the discussion, as it holds no relevance. If Greg had said 'Scottish fans are a fucking disgrace, not like us brilliant English fans who never get into trouble' then you'd be right to bring up Euro 2004. Otherwise it just reads like you're justifying the actions of the Rangers fans by pointing to someone else saying 'they were bad too'. I didn't mean to cause offence to english football supporters in general Dave but you know from my previous statement what i was trying to do! Football violence rears its ugly head from time to time and i just thought it was all being dirceted at Scottish fans, i apologise for any offence caused! lol! Not Justifying it at all tbh, just saying that a lot of peoples' clubs/ teams have all been involved in similar incidents in the past.
