  1. I didn't even know I posted during that game tbf? My laptop always uses my home IP address even when I'm away though I've discovered, might have something to do with the proxy thing I use? (but no, I didn't go, obviously) - although I've seen extensive highlights of it. Extensive highlights. They don't exist mate. You've included Forest and Blackburn CC in your list too. You can't have seen them either. Listened to them both on the radio, going off what the commentators said. The 'extensive' highlights were on NUFCTV, still went for about 10 minutes or so, so it was long enough to make a decision either way. But yeah Sewelly, it would cost about that - because I've done it before I wouldn't take what Mick Lowes and John Anderson say as gospel like. They clueless are they?
  2. How would a proxy route you through your home IP? I don't know, but I posted somewhere 2 weeks ago from interstate and it showed up as the same IP address as usual, I'm not an expert on how those things work.

  4. I actually agree with all of this. I still don't tink Hatem has been as ineffective as people are making out though. He's been equally as effective as Ryan Taylor and / or Obertan in an tacking sense. Ryan Taylor has contributed most in a defensive sense. Hatem is the most talented of the three though. I don't think anyone can actually 100% wholeheartedly disagree with that. Yeah but people are suggesting that we play a player that has little or no defensive abilities in front of Danny Simpson, who himself has little or no defensive abilities. Sounds like a solid idea... In front of Simpson...I don't think anyone suggested that. Anyways, I'm on your side to a degree, I hate this whole bumming of Ben Arfa when some of our less able players get slaughtered even though they've been equally as important this season. It's wrong that any Newcastle player comes on and gets ridiculed or moaned at before they even do owt wrong. The ones yesterday for Hatem were more of a frustration at the team than him, mind. Nevertheless, Ben Arfa isn't and hasn't been s***, he just hasn't been as effective as he may have been if he had been given more game time and / or starts. Well, I haven't been meaning to come across on the side of 'Ben Arfa' has been/is s***. He has been very poor in some games, invisible in others and brilliant at times in others, but it's not consistent enough and he doesn't deserve to be an automatic selection. I don't think he's an automatic selection like 99% of the idiots on here, and I'm able to see when he does things wrong and what his weaknesses are, again, something that apparently 99% of the idiots on here aren't able to do. He's also not the next Maradona, which apparently most people think he is. He has weaknesses, many of them. Fair dues. For me Ben Arfa should get more starts, especially now we're safe, and we should utilize him in the whole behind the stikers in a free role, and go at teams. Santon should be RB and Raylor LB with simpson as cover. Play Cabaye, Tiote and Jonas across the middle. My main issue is that people have big go at ryan Taylor and it's totally uncalled for, even more so than it is the likes of yourself criticisng Hatem. It's irritating me that so many people have jumped on your case too and 'ganged up' on you if you like. Not enough people on here, for me, give their opinions because they're frightened of being shot down, and as for the rest, they only post when they know they're in the majority. Totally agree with you mate At the end of the day I don't give a shit about what a bunch of internet warriors think.
  5. That's a fair point, can't argue with that.

  7. You'll have to ask him that? We should probably ask you though since you seem to know everything. I know that Ben Arfa isn't as good as the majority on here think he is, yes. If he was, he wouldn't be playing for us.
  8. That's just utter drivel though isn't it? How? Forest in the CC - was average Blackburn in the CC - was poor Man City - showed glimpses/good Man Utd- showed glimpses/good Chelsea - was poor Blackburn in the FA Cup - MOTM QPR (came on in the 24th minute) - virtually invisible Fulham - virtually invisible Brighton - virtually invisible Blackburn - poor QPR is the best game I've seen him play in a Newcastle shirt (I didn't see Blackburn in Cup) Aye dont listen to him, he is clueless. And pulls the general he is not Maradona which no one has ever said or come close to suggest. How many times do I have to post that I got the QPR game wrong? I was thinking of the Brighton game when I wrote that. Might go modify that post.
  9. You'll have to ask him that?

  11. Well that's what should happen, but it won't. Why?? Because Pardew will never drop Simpson. Well it's not, because I've seen it through my own eyes whilst being objective about things and not just :fwap:ing about him because I'm a fanboi You've seen the game against Blackburn at home in the cup through your own eyes? Use one game as an example? K. Have you seen it or not? Yes, and it's the only time that I've thought.. 'okay, he might not be lazy'. And then he let himself down by being lazy again. Fair play, must have cost you a few quid to come from Australia for a cup game. It did, about $5k or so.

  15. You're clutching at straws now. Your argument is flawed because you just viewing the situation with your own rules. and you're not?

  19. Obertan started the game before last. ... and Ben Arfa started 2 games in a row before the Villa game, is he a regular starter? It's quite sad really. Obertan gets jumped on even when it's not his fault (and I'm not saying he's good, because he's shite and deserves the criticism 90% of the time) yet Ben Arfa is a hero and better than Diego Maradona despite doing sweet fuck all. Ben Arfa is talented, but he's lazy. You can't get away with being a lazy footballer at the top level regardless of how much talent you have.
  20. Ben Arfa has had 4 or 5 poor games from quite a small sample size. I could find 4 or 5 poor games from everybody else, but it's from more games than the 8 or so that Ben Arfa has started.
  21. If he's invisible then what is Raylor and Obertan? Ryan Taylor has had a better season that Ben Arfa by a considerable distance. I wish people could view things more objectively.
  22. Was wrong about the QPR game but just because he scored it doesn't mean he was good against Fulham. The whole team was rubbish that day, him included.
  23. That's just utter drivel though isn't it? How? Forest in the CC - was average Blackburn in the CC - was poor Man City - showed glimpses/good Man Utd- showed glimpses/good Chelsea - was poor Blackburn in the FA Cup - MOTM QPR (came on in the 24th minute) - virtually invisible Fulham - virtually invisible Brighton - virtually invisible Blackburn - poor Obertan. Scored v Blackburn. Every other game = shite. Also you talking shite, he changed the game v QPR for starters. Yeah wait, I was wrong about the QPR game (had the wrong game in my head), but right about all of the others so I'm talking shite? Obertan doesn't start anymore so that argument is irrelevant.
