I think with 3 years left on his contract that makes him a mercenary and will sour what has been an amazing time with us. Most on here would have accepted and expected him to go next season if we hadn’t kicked on, or couldn’t offer him the wages he would command if he had another 20 goal season. Maybe this is all about a new contract and he’ll get it with us and will be banging them in along with DCL this season
