I'm all for signing Ireland. Due to injuries and the fact that he haven't been given a real chance in his favored position, he's sort of been forgotten, and what I don't understand, almost bullied as a result of his off field-personality. A player as good as Ireland, don't just stop being good forever at the age of 24. 24 ffs! And now, injury free, he's emerged available for £2-3 M. I don't see how this is a bad signing. Ireland is surely going to retain his excellent City form at some point, that's inevitable. Personally I think he could do wonders in our 11/12 team. And with the mentioned price, the risk is so low, and yet the the gain could be so huge.

If they sell Cesc though (which is very likely to happen), they will have to get in one or two midfielders, and they will aim higher than Matuidi.
-
Sissoko would be fantastic, him and Tiote in midfield man, thats some wall. Put Matuidi in as well, an we`ll never concede No seriously, but one of them please. Need another powerhouse.
-
Kind of misleading headline on the article. It basically says that Matuidi has told Wenger he wants to join them, that Wenger won`t splash £13 M on him, that Blaise himself wants to play in the Premier League and that Pardew also is interested. Nothing new then.

Saw that, but assumed it was that one. 3 of the players there are from Bayern Münich.

Surely Fellah, Nosa or Henriksen..

Eh? The Mirror reckons we're interested, direct quotes from Phil Brown say a Premier League club has enquired. Nothing to confirm it's us, but it's hardly 'ridiculous'. I was pointing to this http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Newcastle-enquire-about-Preston-winger-Keith-Treacy-article752259.html And? That was followed by Brown's comments. I see, I just meant there wasn`t any quotes in the mirror article. The Skysports one however..

Ok, so we have shown some kind of interest. But surely Treacy knows that coming here will be a bad choice, as he would at best sit on the bench, where as if he joins one of the mentioned Championship clubs, he would play week in week out.

So basically people are believing the hopeless mirror article, and the PrestonNorthEnd-mad.co.uk re-hash? Ridiculous sources..

It`s just silly.

As in monday 27.06?
-
Never mind, Rosenborg wins it
-
Ujah scores
-
Nosa missing penalty in penalty shoot out against Rosenborg in the cup.
-
Yep, and he can teach Cabaye, HBA and Matuidi english
-
Wants to do better than we did last season (of course) and progress to be one of the best teams in England , hopes to score some goals, seems intelligent like Cabaye
-
If they had removed the horrendous sponsor it could be bearable (or maybe not). But it`s just too unorganized, a mess really..
-
Wow, Boltons shirt is just horrible
-
I want to stay in Newcastle, but I am confused with what happens here!
-
Yes, of course, but that`s just a matter of time. With a lot of exclusively french speakers who naturally finds each other in terms of style of play, I think the co-operation will develop nicely into a fast flowing high class passing midfield.
-
Watching the Everton - Newcastle match from September; Barton, Nolan and Tiote is completely dominating the midfield, so I can`t help but think that a midfield trio consisting of Matuidi, Cabaye and Tiote will be absolutely tremendous. I`m not saying it`s that easily comparable, but isolated I say bring in Matuidi.
