He’s seemingly really coachable and has a great understanding of his role within a system. It’s why he’s largely looked good under Rafa and Eddie; his awareness kind of makes up for his relative lack of ability.
I’d say Kenny Tete at Fulham. Never gets talked about despite being a very solid right-back.
Edit: Statistically the best fullback 1v1 (defensively) in Europe last season and very decent going forward too. Doesn’t get enough plaudits imo (although haven’t been paying attention to his performances this campaign).
Never said they were easy but if we have any aspirations of getting Champions’ League again then we should reasonably expect to dispatch these at home.
