Edwards and Hope are (likely) getting information from NUFC sources that it is not done in the 100% official way (contracts signed, etc.). Romano, whose sources are likely from Watford and/or the player's agent, reported the two clubs have agreed on a fee and the player has agreed on a contract until 2028. Romano then confirmed today that the official stuff is being worked out (contract signatures, etc.).
