  1. Fast making himself dislikeable isn't he?
  2. https://twitter.com/AdamP1242/status/1459296863774027782?t=H5S_ObJ3DxxuGLY24WUoqg&s=19
  3. I must admit, it's a bit like Heroine (I'd imagine). Gives you a moments buzz, a come down of epic proportions, it's hard to come off and when you do, the slightest bit getd you hooked again. I think as you get older, it's just therapeutic being annoyed about shit.
  4. I've had a few minor issues with him over the years like personally. Haven't got any time for him, probably fine to discuss Newcastle over a pint but anything other. Not for me.
  5. For me, I'm just gonna come off Twitter in time. It'll become rife with shite opinions if we become good and have an off day and it'll be even more rife with the types I've decsribed. I think if you avoid social media you pretty much don't know any of it is going on.
  6. We have stuff planned, aye. Difficult to match some of the displays seen to date on a regular basis but hopefully it hits home with Howe moreso than anything along with a raucous fanbase that day (fingers crossed).
  7. I genuinely find it uncomfortable tbh. Like at that age, doing that, is just a bit peculiar. People watch because they want to see what's gannin on or simply to pick on the kid, and it just seems like the kid needs some guidance.
  8. I might be old fashioned but I hate the modern trend of podcasts and vlogs, etc. Like. There's that kid who's basically stalking Howe, which is canny weird behaviour, but he's doing it for viewers rather than out of fandome (?). Then you have half the TF lot who are more bothered about videoing their reaction to goals or interviewing fans than they are about the actual game or supporting their team. Then you have some lasses who basically parade themselves so blokes slava aal owa them and subsequently their views get perpetuated because people fancy them despite talking utter shite. That's before you even start with the so-called key figures. I get along alright with Wraith and his lot on a personal level, I don't agree with a lot they do on social media, but each to their own. I don't have much time for some of those at TF, but there are a few sound lads amongst them. I just hate this whole juggling to be king magpie like. It's shite. We're fans. It's our strength in numbers that matter most not who gets their face on most media streams. I'll never forget overhearing Michael Martin and Alex Hurst laughing at AshleyOut when I met them once, think they knew I had involvement and were making deliberstely snide comments in earshot of me. Was in The Strawberry. "Oh why would you be anonymous, have you not got the balls to stand up for your opinions" or some similar shit amongst other stuff. Quite the opposite - folk just didn't want to make it about them. That's why AO stayed anonymous where possible, SackPardew did, The Magpie Group (by and large) did, and Wor Flags do. Because Newcastle United is the purpose not any fanzine, group or Twitter handle.
  9. Think we're avoiding any reference to Bruce as tempting as it is like.
  10. Aye, discussions underway. 300 messages since 7pm.
  11. Love the lad but he's a luxury. Needs to really help pull us out the shit with his trickery in upcoming games, because his defensive work as a midfielder has left a lot to be desired for me.
  12. Aye I think we're keen to keep it fan led and separate of the clubs involvement. It means we control the narrative/messaging.

    Graeme Jones

    Decent coach, bad manager
  14. Not yet mate. I think we probably will, in time Not bothered either way, like I say we're just fans like anyone else, but obviously it would be nice.
  15. The owners love what we do apparently, think they're chuffed we're back, from a cynical point of view, we make their product better I guess you could argue.
  16. That's great to hear like. My sister said people were talking about it on the bus and that, love that me. Comments like yours here are exactly why we do it. Unity.
  17. Cheers mate! Honestly though, no need, we're just fans liek anyone else.
  18. I got megged about 6 times in that first game.
  19. Came down faster than planned and the Toon were late out. Not quite perfect but the display went well like. Was really worried pre match because the flag was out in the rain all night/morning thankfully though the plastic wrapping worked a treat and the straps we implemented worked a treat. Should hopefully be easier to do moving forward. Yous may laugh, but we have to work off a spreadsheet and run it like a military operstion for this one.
