Anita has comfortably been our man of the match so far. Ritchie has been quite heavily involved and Diame has been decent so far. Gouffran has just been his usual steady self and Colback a bit of a liability. Gayle will score second half, I'm confident. Back 4 have had little to do and Darlow has looked fairly solid as usual.

A Mackem I work with was saying he was totally confident that S*nderland would stay up with around 35 to 40 points. This was after 17 games and saying if they could get a point out of the next two (ManUre and Burnley (a)) then they'd be alright. They resulted in getting 0. Will be interesting to hear what he has to say tomorrow if Liverpool win. I know teams have better and worse form traditionally in different parts of the season, but unless they strengthen (which I doubt they will) they'll be down if you ask me. If they got 16 from the first 19 I can only see them reaching around 32-34 points.
