  1. Smashing. Give your optic chiasm a good tug.
  2. Absolutely lush stream for anyone wanting see it:
  3. Used some nerves and muscles to move my eye lids up and through light and imagery entering my pupils I managed to see and decipher the football.
  4. Good goal that Perez one. He's so fucking good man.
  5. The camera work on that U21's is minging.
  6. As previously mentioned there has been a number of other designs produced and discussed within the group and I'm sure once finalised and produced they will be impressive. More will follow but we really want to have a "wow" factor rather than having it built up and then not meeting certain people's expectations. Speaking from my own experience you cannot keep everyone happy with this sort of thing and this will inevitably be the case with some. Strange how most the people who complain never do owt to better it or help... Just my opinion. The club are cooperating with members of our group and we intend to at least make our aspect of the display(s) as tasteful as possible and not too orchestrated. As previously mentioned - anyone who can provide designs or is willing to help would be appreciated.
  7. Would normally take £15million but in today's market with a Euro2016 gold medal we should probably be looking to rinse someone for £25million
  8. I think one of the lads who owns that banner is part of the group so expect to see more of that and my "Howay The Lads" flag. This is very much a joint venture with the club and I think they will permit the use of their copyrighted items so long as it's not for profitable purposes. Despite that - this is a fans initiative...it's run by the fans for the fans. We're just trying to cooperate with the club for our own gains. Personally, I'd prefer it to be solely a fans initiative with no communication with Ashley and his con artists but if it makes for a better match day experience and we have Benitez maybe this is a sign of good, healthy change.
  9. If you wanted someone to earn it you wouldn't tell them. It breeds selfishness that would be detrimental to the team at times. For me I'd give it to Mitro and tell him he has to live upto it.
  10. Just to let y'all know - this is progressing well. Further meetings have been had with the club today and things seem very positive. I don't want to give too much away just now but plans are being put into place for the first league game at St James'.
  11. That's to be discussed with the club. It may have been already but if so I wasn't there / haven't read about it. I'll bring it up tonight and ask if the club can extend their own flag / scarf range with all proceedings going to the NUFC foundation and reproduction of further materials. Then one of the main men can take it up with the club. It's a long shot but we'll see.
  12. I agree with this and it should be intimidating for the opponent. However, I suspect it's intended to be pro Newcastle and positive in its infancy. At least until we're seen to not be trouble makers or anti-anything. Again... I will hopefully find out more tomorrow as will "wor jackie". I think there's one or two people who've been more involved than me to date in this particular group so I cannot gan in all guns blazing
  13. My friends and I actually own a 5ft X 10ft banner (something like that) with "Howay The Lads" on. It's Black, White then Black and has two blue stars either side of the "The" in the middle, White row. It's featured on match of the day at Everton most noticeably. This should feature more next season.
  14. We're having a meeting to discuss tomorrow. I'll raise these concerns. As with a lot of things it's a case of striking a balance between quality and quantity. If we had 1,000 black and white striped flags it would look better than 100 with fancy designs. That's not to say fancy designs should be ignored. I know from initial comments made within our group that the idea seems to be that large "top drawer" flags on display with lots of basic designed ones accompanying it seems to be the initial route. This group is very much in its infancy and it's trying to go about things the right way. Some members like myself have previously made banners and bought them also so I have a good idea of how to save a bit of cash but it's also very time consuming. I cannot see special graphic designers being consulted for cash but I know there's one or two who are more design savvy in the ranks. What's on the site isn't all that's in motion and we will be looking for more involvement from the likes of yourselves and twitter. The intention is to make this as inclusive as possible so feel free to chip in with designs or get and bring your own flags. It's supposed to be a spark to ignite the atmosphere so as much contribution as possible I'd say...
  15. There's a few more better design being dished out privately like the site might need an update. I'll speak to the lads running it. I like that Shearer one like. Just think the 9 needs a little work. Not that I can criticise like I'm useless with owt like that.
  16. Get designing and contributing then folks...tweet them...
  17. That is proper insane that like. Glad to be part of this. Looks like it will be properly ran too. Some older and wiser members in comparison to my Toon Ultra times. Interestingly a few of "us" are involved again here. Should be excellent if our fans embrace it not like they did with AO
