  1. People shouldn't kid themselves that the youngsters are going up there for anything other than a business decision to try and safeguard Rangers. It has fuck all to dok with football.
  2. I have just seen my tv licence and ST bills come out for the month like...couldn't help but think "what the fuck for?"
  3. I assume the club look at each aspect of income / turnover and try to achieve greater gains in each sector each year. The sale of players being a less controllable way of making a certain profit, I suspect this is more to do with keeping the players' contracts down below a certain level. That seems like the only way this has any real value to it. It isn't just €4million for the sale it's the lack of cost for the next year. Which probably doubles the value of this from the clubs point of view. I don't agree with it like, but that's the way these cunts want it.
  4. Genuine question; if protests were happening against Ashley would those of you who no longer attend, attend in order to strengthen opposition?

    Alan Shearer

Lineker made some remarks about it during the World Cup. Same about Shearer and Lennon too. On both occasions he made out Shearer did nowt wrong... Was class. Gullit man...worra sack.
  6. "Where's your Username gone? Where's your Username gone?"
  7. What did you say like? Just said that you've gotta love how Lee Ryder is calling someone saying that the club is interested in money and treats its fans like s*** [i used asterisks] "astonishing" as if her comments are the thing that are astonishing or unbelievable. Then just said that it was written in crayon from within the club's pocket, as usual. It's clear as day that NCJ are desperately trying to claw their way back into bed with the club. However, if they need it for sales and for them to stay 'alive' then you cannot really blame them as a business. Likewise, Lee Ryder probably has a wife and kids whom he has to support. I completely agree with you like. The part where NCJ media fall down is that they haven't properly investigated Ashley and the way he has ran the club. As every local and national columnist should have done by now. It's a disgrace that this (Ashley's running of the club) has been left by so many, namely our own. I honestly couldn't care less about the paper and its survival if this is the level of its contribution towards our local society. Aye. Fair dues.
  8. I'm sure many on here would agree 100%. You're right though, our fans as whole have a sense of "this what a true fan would do". Myself probably included. This is what divides everyone so much. We're all massively passionate about the Toon, we just choose to show it different ways. The problem being that too many are willing to turn up and not do anything about it. I'd rather turn up and shout about it and let them know what I think. Some would prefer just not to go. I know for me, the people choosing not to go aren't to be lambasted but are to be applauded for taking a stance. The worst ones are the ones who sit in silence at the game and then whinge about it in the pub. Change won't come by itself. It needs to be done large-scale and by the majority. Which ever way...

  10. I can see where you're coming from but I wouldn't go so far as to say those who attend still are condoning it... I still attend and I don't condone it, at all. I just feel that my last stand would be to boycott, and I am yet to reach my last stand. Yet being the key word.
  11. Yeah, he did have such fantastic end product. Probably no less than the rest of our wingers in his time here... Right so...if he can't cross, he shouldn't be a winger? If he was as bad at defending then he shouldn't have been a defender? I think playing on the wing without as much defensive responsibility, would have been a better position for Santon personally. All you had to do was watch him in warm ups and you could see he can cross and hit a shot...with his right though. When storming up from the back it's much easier to whip a ball in from your correct foot in your stride. It's just sad that Dummett and Williamson are basically better than Santon and Mapou to this business. If you know anything about football, that's wrong. If not, you can compare careers now and see it's no contest, yet this business (and a few fans, mind) love the cloggers. Now I don't mind Dummett at centre back. I'd much prefer to seen him alongside Mapou, developing a partnership than the pedestrian Williamson and Coloccini. If only we could hire a guy to coach them. I'm struggling to understand what side of the fence you're sitting on here.. I agree with the vast majority of your post though.
  12. Seen some of that on FB. She pulled no punches about them...

  14. Santon would have been better for us under different management in my opinion. He isn't defensively sound but with someone like him at RB / LB and Haidara/Debuchy LB/RB with good competent wingers we would have had an, exciting, good, attacking side. Unfortunately, we were mismanaged by Pardspew. That being said Janmaat is defensively the strongest out the lot at RB... For me i would have liked to see him played as a winger in a 4-4-2, just out of curiosity...
  15. The sooner the January window becomes a massive joke the better. Sky are cunts.
  16. My girlfriends brother and father will be happy, no doubt. They told me that Santon loved the Toon, apparently in all his interviews across there he didn't talk about Italy, just Newcastle.
  17. If he isn't gone by the end of today he will be in the summer.
  18. Left disappointed after another transfer window. No surprise there I guess. What a fucking piss take.

    Shola Ameobi

Aye, people are laughing now but they f***ing won't be when inevitably he scores past us, they win and they go above us. Thanks a f***ing lot Ashley, you c***.
  20. Glad Torres is returning to his former self
