I really don't know why this debate is happening, he is fucking clearly right handed.
  2. Man of the match yesterday for me like.

    Been awesome since Carroll left.
  4. Yesterdays piss taking on the left flank, such beautiful skill....José man...José! I need to change me catchers noo.
  5. He is frustratingly poor with his end product half of the time but I still think Wor Jonas is a quality player, Premiership quality for sure. People don't seem to realise that teams double up on him nearly every game just to stop him running with the ball.
  6. TBH I think there's a whole player power thing going on from those that were in the squad that got relegated. I genuinely believe they all want to stay, but they're pushing the board to reinvest so that both they, and the fans can look forward to a long and prosperous future together. None of them want to leave us, no way, their performances and reactions to the fans alone confirm this.

    Sunderland...

    Hypocritical to say the least.
  8. Nerve-wracking as owt was that day. I can remember Dabizas getting away with a blatant handball after we'd gone 1 ahead. Did Shearer get them both that day - first one was a pen wasn't it? I know it was 2-0 aet... Can't remember anything about that match (well apart from that goal) but after reading this I can now remember, watching it at home and, the handball being clear as day. Think Dabizas's handball was at 0-0, then Sol Campbell did exact same thing and we got pen. I was in the upper tier at the side, whole crowd jumping up and down chanting 'Ruud Gullit' and could actually feel it bouncing, remember Shearer commenting on it. You were obviously one of the chaps I was looking up at... Can't remember f*** all of that game, was that the semi with the goal of the season or was that Sheff U? Sheff U was 1-0, shearer bundled it in, spurs 2-0 was the screamer i think Aye.

Why would anyone want to buy Sunderland AFC?? I really can't get my head around it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxhoGTq_Sms&feature=fvst "One for Barton, one for Besty, Barton gets one more, Ball comes out to Tiote, You know Cheik'll score! "Tio-te, Cheik Tiote, Tio-te Cheik Tiote!" This works really well, it's a catchy tune and could easily catch on imo. Obviously, I'm biased though, might try and get it going in Level 7.
  11. Don't blame him at all. Nolan has 10 now doesn't he...
  12. I was thinking more to the tune of the banana splits... "One for Barton, one for Besty, Barton gets one more, Ball comes out to Tiote, You know Cheik'll score! "Tio-te, Cheik Tiote, Tio-te Cheik Tiote!"

    Sunderland...

Honestly mate, take a look back at what you've just written and have another go,this is just embarrassing. Not you again..
  14. Aye, exactly. We could finish in Europe yet, and it could totally influence the whole summer. But apparently finishing in Europe is also a negative thing, it's too many matches. Remember: extra matches in Europe increase injuries by 1000%. It surely can't be too much different from playing the Championship...

  16. I don't think either were penalties iirc. Shearer did get both though, the second one, Silvio Maric layed it back to Shearer, 20 yards out, and he brayed it in off the bar. He ran over to the corner where I was sat and my Dad picked me and my mate up one in each arm. We ended up between the seats and grown blokes jumping around near my head, it was a truly awesome moment. I was shitting myself but elated at the same time. I remember my Dad picking me up at half time of Extra time, and turned me to face the North Stand. As it had been for the last half an hour, Toon Toon, Black and White Army bellowed out continuously, literally no breaks, and the stand was pretty much bending with our support jumping up and town chanting. He said "Look at that! Look at that son! You will never forget this moment for the rest of your life!"....ahhhhh amazing man! :smitten:

  18. Even on the tv their presence improved the match immensely. Aye flicked over and had to watch just in case they scored one. I wanted them to score just to see the fans go mental
  19. It's putting me off reading stuff like. I think the whole season ticket thing, and the sale of Carroll are what undoubtedly have triggered this reaction. People need to remember that at the start of the season we were all expecting a relegation dogfight and now we're knocking on the doors of Europe, Carroll or no Carroll.
  20. I'm getting sick of all the pessimism surrounding our players, I wish people could just enjoy the rest of the season.
  21. Aris' support was top drawer. I love to see fans like that.

anyone in full time education who is above the age for child prices i'd imagine. Thats what I thought but there doesn't appear to be any info on the website about it. I think you have to show some form of University/full time education notice on purchase, and I'd imagine it's for those who don't fit into the other categories.
  23. I was at that. 0-0 IIRC. http://www.nufc.com/html/1993-94reserves.html That was in 1993, Heza would have been 3. It was a rough date tbh, I don't think i was 3 though. My Dad said it was 0-0 surprisingly enough. I'll double check later.
  24. I don't remember it, but apparently it was a Newcastle Reserves vs Sunderland Reserves game when I was 5 (1994/1995) and 9,000 fans turned up. The rest is history.
