  1. Why the smiley? He will get back his money if Nolan doesn't play won't he? Aye, it'll probably swap to £1 on Newcastle 1-0 otherwise. Not a problem. More likely to come off and covers my other bets.

  3. It's all in the accounts & isn't enough to cover the costs evidently. I didn't say it would cover the costs... I don't know how all this finance malarkey works either. Was merely, stating. From the May 2008 accounts.......... http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/9607/turnover.jpg The 2009 figures will be available from the end of March so i'll post them then. Obviously for this season we'll have to wait until March 2011. Cheers, scary money that...I wonder how much goes out... What do you reckon that is this year? About £75m? Current season? I'd guess around £60m, would be a guess though. 2007 was only £87m in the Premier Leagu after all. The media revenue & lack of corporate tickets being filled will take a massive hit, offset in part by the parachute payment. Aye, it'll be interesting to see like. We will have made a loss no doubt but it's partly their fault anyway so they can fuck off.
  4. Don't really like seeing any club in Pompeys situation.

You would think that would be a problem but, I have made some pretty good friends in the area I sit. How could 90 minutes next to a fellow fan ever be a problem? I love the fact i sit alongside different people, it leads to a better post match debate with the lads imo I agree, I tend to make friends with those around me anyway, simply so it covers your arse if owt was ever to happen.

  8. How many kids have you got heza? None. Your answer to this will be hypothetical anyway therefore but..... Suppose you had a kid, and one of your mates from work got the mother pregnant (irrespective of the fact you were no longer together) and then gave her the money to have an abortion to stop you finding out. Would you still be his mate and or want to work directly alongside him? Then when you found out the lengths Terry went to to prevent it coming out (using his money to gag the press) would that situation not make you even more annoyed? I know some people will find this hard to grasp, but football & the World Cup isn't the be all and end all. Footballers have retired from international football before & therefore missed international tournaments because of despite the fact they could have gone, Bridge just has more reason than most & in this instance doesn't have to justify his decision to anyone. EDIT: Did you just think to add in the "darling" when you were correcting your quoting f*** up? Don't get me wrong Terry is the biggest cunt in all this, and you do have a point I'd probably kick the shit out of the person at work, get sacked and still want to kill him. So in normal circumstances, I totally agree. The point for me is, that every kid dreams of playing in a World Cup when they're younger, he has the chance to make this dream a reality and he's the one that will suffer and regret this decision later on in life. Especially if we were to win it. The past is the past and the nowt can change what's happened. It's not the same classing an everyday circumstance with these fuckers, because as much as I may enjoy my job, it's never been my dream to work there. Again, I suppose I'm working on the assumption that it's his dream to play at the World Cup. Would be great if he broke Terry's leg today and went to the World Cup though. Morally....but obviously it wouldn't help our chances of winning it. I overlooked the details of the story tbf, nevertheless. Don't think he's as much of a tit now, cheers Liam O'. EDIT: ...darling xxx
  9. I'd love to know how much the fans have actually spent in terms of Merchandise, 3 and one year season tickets, beer and pies, etc and on the day ticket sales. I bet in a season that covers about 20million.

    Level 7 Corner

I'd say 4 mate, I reckon that's round about block D. It's great up their in my opinion so you'll thoroughly enjoy it.
  11. How many kids have you got heza? None, darling.
  12. If anyone Villa. Fulham or Birmingham would be kinda nice but that'll never happen.
  13. Bridge is a fucking tit. Anyone who plays football for the love of football wouldn't pass up the opportunity to play at a World Cup, especially when we have a good chance of winning it. He clearly just plays for the money aspects of it though, because crying off about this shizzle is just bent. If I was Bridge I'd want to prove I was worth more to the squad than Terry, not quit. I hope the two of them get stick everywhere they go now just for going on like a couple of sex offenders.
  14. sorry, but if he thinks that a majority of the team is good enough in the premiership over the summer, he'll deserve the sack Aye, but the transfer window shuts 3 or 4 games into the season, and with all this shite surrounding the ownership of the club, I would imagine it'll be last minute dealings regardless. I cannot think of a worse way of starting our season than changing gaffa 4 games in.
  15. Whilst I agree with some of the actions taken by FIFA in the last few decades there are many rules which appear to be a load of wank. Lining up to shake the away teams hand pre-match being one. Another is the offside rule, if you're offside you're offside in my opinion (but I'm a Defender by nature so maybe I'm biased). There are several more but I cannot be arsed to go into them. Getting into European competitions via fair-play is fucking joke too.

I'm hoping that they do the 3 year thingy like, it would be of great use to me.
  17. I agree - Hughton definately deserves more praise than what he gets. Whilst alot of us would agree he shouldn't be given the role were we to get promoted, I think it's about time we began vocally backing him because a) He deserves it and b) What better way to start a tough Premiership campaign, than by being United on as many fronts as possible and fighting his corner for him. One team, one club, one United.

Who's renewing, buying their first, or getting rid? Also when do they normally need to be paid for?
  19. I think Jake deserved every bit of it.
  20. I wonder what the players would think of the idea that Hughton couldn't handle us in the Premier'. I bet they'd disagree...
  21. So he's done a poor job or an average job? Average, but far from good enough. So he hasn't done good enough? Despite exceeding most fans expectations. Or are you merely saying he's far from good enough for the premiership? If the opposition weren't such piss-poor finishers, we wouldn't be where we are - that's his fault. The fact we are top has been down to a little touch of quality from certain players and some luck. I find your comments ludicrous. You tell him, Heza!
