I wonder if this plan would work with the East Stand side replaced with a stand the height of the present Gallowgate? The present East Stand only holds about 5,200, so with roughly 9,000 more seats on the East side plus the extra tier (7,000ish) on the Gallowgate end, you're looking at an increase in capacity of maybe 15-16,000.
