  1. I'm 99% sure they were in the corner of the Leazes, I was in the corner of the Gallowgate that day. i was in the e-wing paddock. the west ham fans were in that corner but i'm sure the bomb came from the east stand right next to the corner. Correct. I was stood behind the Leazes goal and can remember seeing the petrol bomb flying out of the East stand paddock. Can still visualise the Hammers fans who were pretty well packed in, all moving back as the bomb burned out on the terrace.
  2. Count me in. By the way "guests" (ie makem bastards) can't vote in polls can they? Otherwise the sad cunts will all come on here and vote yes to deliberately skew the vote.
  3. bloody hell! didn't think Savage was capable of that...
  4. I've read some crap on here before, but this takes the biscuit.
  5. Joe Harvey was our greatest post war manager, but I'd agree with virtually all of that. Top post.
  6. Former Blackburn Carlisle player? Former Carlisle and Boro. Local lad too, he's from Gateshead, I work with his stepdad and his cousin. We could have done a lot worse. came through boro i think Thinking of someone else then. Can't remember who though. Did he play for Carlisle though (Graham) could be confusing the two clubs.
  7. Very fair asessment mate. The atmosphere today far outshone that at the "second city" derby earlier.
  8. Who's the man in your picture? frank sidebottom. living legend I've met Frank. Top bloke in a big papier mache headed way
  9. Have they mentioned the attendance yet? Looks aboot 42, 000 I reckon.
  10. What a fucking goal!! Well done Shola (never thought I'd say that)
  11. That was Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd you tool. oh right sorry mate, hahaha. s'alright
  12. That was Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd you tool.
  13. Read yesterdays Express, it says Cisse might stop partying now all the NEWCASTLE players are banned, states how he's regular in our parts. They go on about how Cisse is a Mackem, but he's always over here. Is it true that Sunderland doesn't even have a cinema? There is one in Boldon i think, though thats more a part of washington than sunderland... Boldon is in South Tyneside, NE (Newcastle) postcode, the last outpost of sanity before the dark makem wastelands.
  14. Absolutely spot on mate, couldn't argue with any of it especially the bit in bold. Batty was far too negative for the team we had that season. Instead of Clarky recycling the ball and passing it forward to the likes of Beardsley or Lee etc, we had Batty winning the ball and passing it sideways or back, inviting pressure on to us. And we all know how well our defence coped with pressure...

Good numbers but a high percentage of them are shit. fyp
  16. Tames is an Arsenal fan apparantly. Makems I know think he's a Geordie and hate him as much as we do.
  17. No he's not. I've met him once or twice in my local and he admitted to being brought up in the shadow of roker park. Canny enough bloke for a makem tbf.

    Hear hear

He sits behind me at the match and you wouldn't say that if you saw him; absolutely shocking dress sense He's on the Journal's punters panel by the way, always respected his opinions, unlike the numpties in the Chronicle. And this article is spot on.
  19. I don't think you'll be far from the truth about getting Keegan and Wise but I don't think it was only them, I think he's brought them all together to get them all working together at this important time. I don't agree about Ashley being miffed about anything as it goes against everything I've heard about him from somebody who knows him. I can back that up. I work with a bloke who is part of Ashley's "inner sanctum" so as to speak and he reckons there's nowt to worry about. Ashley is to use the old cliche, over the moon with the improvement under KK. Talking to my mate on Tuesday, he reckoned all the media nonsense about KK's outburst and how it was received in the boardroom is just that - nonsense.
  20. Not as bad as Bryan Robson and Jamie Redknapp's performance at half time. This is hide behind the sofa stuff. I thought it couldn't get worse after Robson's "United have been the better team...(false laugh) ", but Redknapp's utterly trite "Pat Lampard was a top, top lady" has just took the prize. Hardly going to say otherwise when its his Aunt WHOOSH
