Just even reading that on the Sunderland thread. Didn't see anything like that are there any pics floating around?

Did I miss something? Can't remember any spitting incident with Remy.

Not worthy of a thread - 2018 FIFA World Cup edition

I'm all for a winter break tbh. As long as it comes right after the christmas fixtures. Trouble is it would mean decreasing the number of teams in the league and less teams = less fixtures = less cash. So i don't see it happening, unless they start the season in July. I could see some clubs loving a winter break. They'll piss off to Asia, Australia etc for warm weather friendlies and will rake in money. Just the top clubs though. -
Same as this marquee signing shit that is creeping in. Always used to be star signing.

Just in relation to that Ryder article.....since when has a squad now become a 'roster' in football speak? Fucking yankisms.

Didn't Clattenberg admit a while ago that they were told to keep the 'big names' on the pitch as much as possible. Ie not send them off unless it was impossible not to.

Just been on twitter. Not sure if that's what the ref has said though....

Not sure if that's correct but straight off twitter

But that didn't apply in this case, and the linesman didn't flag until after the consultation. Or am I wrong yet again? Pretty sure the ref's association or whatever they're called have already confirmed the goal should have stood. Mike Jones can cry into his bung pillow though. According to the commentators over here David Elleray was there and said it should have stood. Will be interesting to see what happens next.

Just seen the pen again, Altidore actually jumps up in the air. Absolute joke Keeper should have saved the free kick for the first. Deflected second. Very good third. Fourth an absolute joke.

Starting to get their fair share of luck now. 2 decent goals but the penalty was an utte joke. Clattermoe went in studs up as well.

I was expecting it to be miles more debatable than it was. f*** knows what the bit in bold is about as well, they were all screaming for a red. That's a pretty reasonable shout from .com, apart from the no appeals bit.

Pretty much what I was trying to say.

No just someone who goes into a tackle with two feet in the air knowing they aren't going to be the one that gets hurt if they clash. Not sure why him not making contact means it can't be cowardly. If you watch it back he has his feet on the ball before the other guy is anywhere near, he clearly went for the ball and had a brain fart while doing it. Nothing malicious in it at all. Stop talking sense man. I'm confused
