  2. I'm already sick to fucking death of SSN doing that '24' style feature on relegation just because it's the 24th tomorrow. What a steaming pile of shite. In fact, I'd love for Survival Sunday!!!1! to be decided after about 15 minutes (for better or for worse) just to really fuck up this day they've been billing as much as GRAND SLAM SUNDAY (two games ending 0-0, 1-0 or 1-1).
  3. Good news. He's looked very handy in the few reserve games I've watched, and plus, he's a giant.
  4. That's Skirge-tastic that is. Fantasy football has never been so brilliant
  5. I would like it to be Jose Enrique, Xisco, Jonas, Steven Taylor or Ranger. I expect it to be Shola. Nailed on.
  6. Maybe Nixon can give you some advice on how to eat all the pies then? I prefer pizzas. Fixed.
  7. I'd wager it's less than 10. Off the top of my head, I can remember about 6. That assist for Lovenkrands goal doesnt count btw, it was a cross.
  8. The thing that does it for me isn't what Shearer (or Dowie) has said, it's what Kinnear hasn't said - the guy is renowned for shooting his mouth off, and spouting utter fucking tripe about everything. If he knew he was coming back, you bet he'd have told the press by now. If he wasn't sure, he'd have probably said that as well. The fact he's said nothing says to me that we won't be seeing him as manager anymore, you just know he'd have come out with some Billy Liar-esque quotes if there was even a 1% chance he was coming back. Or maybe Ashley and Llambias have told him to keep his mouth shut until they know what division we're playing in next season. Billy Liar? Jesus it sends a shudder down the spine thinking back on the collection of buffoons we have had running the club this season. I'm sick of people saying he's like Walter Mitty - Billy Liar is a better film for a start. I still actually can't believe we gave the job to Kinnear... and then managed to let our situation worsen from there by letting Hughton remain in charge for so long.

  10. Harper R.Taylor S.Taylor Edgar Duff Guthrie Nolan Butt Gutierrez Viduka Lovenkrands Subs: Krul, Coloccini, Smith, Geremi, Ranger, LuaLua, Martins
  11. I think I'd have a f***ing heart attack when the winner hit the back of the net. I sat at work today daydreaming about what it would be like if it call came down to a penalty. And it was Oba who stepped up.
  12. Any spare change on BARACK road?
  13. There's no way Bassong will get picked for the world cup in South Africa, he's the wrong side of 35.
  14. Quite like that. Yeah, that's clever.
  15. It's an interseting moral delima and worthy of a poll in my opinion. Do you love your club enough to partake in some mano y mano activities, in much the same way as "gay for pay" porn stars. Ferguson, Hiddink on O'Neil are just longing for some good servicing. Hiddink's already refused to play a weakened team, so that leaves just O'Neill and Purple Face's purple headed warrior.

    Darren Ferguson.

Because Martinez is Spanish and Coyle is Scottish.
  17. That still stays in keeping with the whole thing about contract renewals though. I agree, he could have meant it in the way you're suggesting, but I imagine he probably would have left the club in the summer if the circumstances with the out of contract players didn't change - he just did it a few months earlier. For him at that current time (assuming what he said about contracts is true) then it really is "too good an opportunity to turn down" because he gets to go to a 'bigger' (note the inverted commas) club job.
  18. Plymouth fans absolutely hate him. He's funny, but he's not a man of his word. No morals. football & morals? i fail see your point It's slightly different with this one though. This was the club that he loved, wanted to end his career there, was a west country boy himself and had never been happier. Then a club came along so irresistable he had to walk out on them...Leicester. Who were about 15 places below them in the league, and went down that year. He explained about why he left Plymouth though. Something like 14 first-team players were out of contract in the summer, most of which were players he wanted to retain. Quite a few wanted to leave on a Bosman transfer and a few of the ones he wanted to renew, the board stood in his way and wouldn't let him. He said that his project was set to fall to bits in the summer and that was why he jumped ship midseason to go to Leicester.
  19. I think you've missed the point Pretty sure he just didn't read the article. is the correct answer
  20. Good to see him back in the game. Love Holloway, the man is class.
