I appear to have walked in to the 1970s

Altidore is shit and has no chance against Man Utd. Are the Americans on yet?
-
never really had a problem with Everton as a club/ fans. really quite liked them in there 80s hayday - such a breath of fresh air from the Liverpool dominance. That said- hopefully we will fuck them up tonight. I know where my Loyalties are. Take note Americans.
-
Right there too much hostility in here now- Im off to read the Jimmy Hill thread on the sMB.
-
be interesting to see how the American Toons react to this.
-
His national hero is playing for a club that plays the part of the Bum Hole to the club he supports. The Guy is confused.
-
Dont Panic yanks- the Mackems are planning a complete squad overhaul again, again - he may not remain.

Hush now, it doesn't fit the narrative. What a load of sweaty arse crack. Cisse gets enough criticism in his own thread and several others round here, you've justified comparing jozy with the most out of form player on our books. Cracking, he's Americas best player as well yeah? Your boy has been shit so far, equally as shite as his hull days. Hopefully for you he'll score against us and you can be proud of your nations talents once again. First, I've never claimed he's our best player. He's not. I've only ever claimed he's better than he's given credit for by some of you hellbent on your anti-Mackem/anti-Yank crusade. He has not been shit. Next to Giaccherini, he has easily been the best player on a very poor team. RVP himself wouldn't be scoring for Sunderland at the moment, they're just that bad. And to pre-empt your next quip, no, that statement is not akin to saying "Altidore is just as good as RVP." His hold-up play has been quite good, he makes smart passes, and he can rip off a good shot. When he gets the ball, which is few and far between. Amazing how whenever he receives service for the U.S., he scores. Whenever he received service for AZ, he scored. Of course, 'CONCACAF and the Eredivisie are shit' blah blah blah and all that utter nonsense. It's funny that, for instance, "Sessegnon was their best player over the past few years, albeit bang average." Now that he no longer plays for Sunderland, "he's a really good player." Some of you are utterly incapable of objectivity when it comes to Sunderland. It's a childishness that extends far beyond football and, from outsiders' perspectives, is wildly pathetic. Sunderland is a nothing team from a nothing city with no history. If you want to be taken seriously by the rest of the country (and, despite pretending not to care, so many of you constantly bemoan the fact that Newcastle is slighted by southerners), stop comparing yourselves to Sunderland and start comparing yourselves to the Liverpools and Manchesters of the football world. Hold yourselves to a higher standard. Mackem TBH.

what he say? Nowt that you wouldn't expect like, but basically just answered each question honestly and in a composed manner, whilst protecting the players and club. He was asked if attitude was the main thing today and said well to be fair it is for every single game, etc. yet so far from what di Canio would do

Is that the 7 points we already have plus 2?
-
9 points Sunderland, Cardiff and ? an optimistic 3 points from the rest , draws or a win.
-
Norwich winning and that fucking Hull result, we cud have been 7th FFS.
-
It might be daft but I'd have him back here any time. Yeah if funded it would be something like. We can dream, ther would be no arguments about negative tactics

Like just about every other England Manager tbh. For me he recognised the players just arn't good enogh or dont care enough, but did the honourable thing and fell on his own sword- took the blame himself- for the useless f***ers. Hes like that you see. I didn't say it was his fault, I said he failed. I wasnt disagreeing with you- just adding my thoughts on it.
-
Crumpy sitting back in his armchair smirking, holding a Cigar. 'Job done'

He's also failed at every Club he's been at (And England). He holds the world record for ejecting objects out of a pram also. Exciting stuff without a doubt. Should NEVER have came back the second time. I get a strong strong feeling he financially up s*** creek when Ashley came knocking. How did he fail here? Whats classed as failing? 1st 3rd 6th 2nd 2nd A championship trophy. And? the best football we've ever seen. highest win %, runners up spot. return of european football and capacity crowds. Were you there just before Keegan under Ardiles and Smith?
