  1. even when it had been hanging on for ages, like when your caser had a tumor (the bladder sticking out where the stitching had came away) Was the start of the end that like. Also, "Divvin't kick it on the concrete man, it's new!". Mitre was the ball to have when I was growing up. the weight of a caser when it had been skinned alive on concrete and left out in the rain.
  2. used to play on there, next to the cricket pitch ( horse field now) on a sunday morning.
  3. aye theres hardly any smashed windows nowadays with all this double glazing. and fking. 'NO BALL GAMES' everywhere.
  4. we used to hoof balls at garage doors to get people to ring the police- this was how my Rocket shot part of my game was well developed
  5. loved it, what were your rules- if the keeper caught you you went in goal?

that and threads confirming that this seasons lack of success is proof they will be successful next season.
  7. What rules did you play by, garages was a class game. garages was ok, one garage door each, 3 lives. but I think I prefered the football games where the end two garages were the goals. so a game of football with both goals facing the same direction.
  8. It wasn't even a popularity contest. All fans could see was a huge up turn in how the team were playing and how well we had started the season. To undermine the man responsible for all of that over some obscure agents, foreign imports and Dennis fucking Wise showed a complete and utter lack of football nous and indeed fucking brains. If it were Pardew and not KK fans would have kicked off all the same, although obviously not so strongly. Even today I cannot comprehend the stupidity of it all. KK in charge of this squad of players would almost certainly have us aiming for the top 4 very strongly and playing top quality football. But they thought in their wisdom, the opinion of agents and Dennis Wise was more worthy than the man who they actually appointed to bring back the good times, times that many a fan could see around the corner... until these cunts brought it to a crashing end. To listen to Dennis Wise over Keegan, a man who couldnt lace Keegans boots as a player or manager, was unforgiveable tbh.

Ive just read that Safc have only finished in the top 10 , 3 times in 56 years, is this true? TOP DOGS
  10. I was tempted to say Europa league spot, but we did that last season, and with the new signings, I think we are much stronger than then. and for much of that run in we were in contention for CL places.
  11. so we are all agreed then, Perch's fault we lost. glad we got there in the end.
  12. i think tiote being there affected perch, just didnt looked arsed, like he knew whats coming.
  13. In fairness - Shearer used to do it quite a bit. i was going to post shearer but I couldnt remember when, but feel sure he did.
  14. If it was Taylor in there and not Perch, that ball would never have ended up in the back of the net simple as that. Perch should have had the riot act read to him after the game by his team-mates and manager. I couldn't believe watching it, it wasn't even a good spot by Bale, he just hit it right but Perch allowed it to whiz straight past him. Taylor would have found a way to get his bollocks on it that would have been worth seeing.
  15. perch changing his mind, or sticking to plan A 'no jump' shouldnt come into it iMO. Clearing balls like this so close to you is instinctive. Cant believe many pro footballers, moreso at this level , havent got that natural instinct to react to a ball.
  16. I assume they think the free kick is too close to the goal to get over the wall and down, so they fear the player hitting it hard and low, in the hope the wall jump over it.
  17. seriously, by his reaction also, looked like wasnt even bothered.

Ndire is either really off the pace of the prem and trying to adjust or he is very poor.

hadnt realised clattermol was booked one min into his return.
  20. Doubt they should risk him in europe even if its not serious.

He was the only one who offered anything first half. Seems to fade in games but I'm hoping thats just adapting to the pace here. At least he gets himself in forward positions which is an improvement on Colback. His touch is shocking at times though. looking at smb tonight seem pretty down on the prospects under mon?

    James Perch

looked like he wasnt arsed when that free kick went in.

    Papiss Cissé

That was a difficult header to pull off, it wasn't easy at all if he did score it we would all being raving how fantastic a header it was. Fine margins..... A ball was put in, he was completely on his own and he headed it yards wide. It was absolutely shocking Not saying he definitely should have scored it but he definitely should have got it on target at least, he was nowhere near. It was nowhere near as easy as you are making it out to be. thought it was a good try to put it in the far post- really difficult to pull off, and a decent attempt.
