is there enough to have a Keegan followers,vs Keegan blamers match. edit, can anyone tell me why my avatar changed by itself? If that was the case it would be me, you, Robster, The Gimp and TheSpence against the rest. Works for me. it would give it an edge, something to play for, -

I swear you get some form of smug enjoyment out of seeing us struggle yet I have no clue why. thats not it, i kind of hope if everyone becomes pessimistic, then the fucking club may decide to do something about it. its like a vote of no confidence in this regime.

Vast majority are still between 1-5 though. 1-5 place of the optimistic NUTs

The difference with those games was that Martins wasn't the only attacking outlet in the system that KK enforced. Not forgetting he'd often bring N'Zogbia on or even, heaven forbid, Duff - who can atleast run at a defense and push em back atleast a little bit (with varying degrees of effectiveness, granted). Kinnear brings on Viduka, who has literally no pace whatsoever. He's excellent at keeping the ball but it leaves no runner, especially when you've got cloggers like Butt and Geremi representing your centre-midfield. The defense can happily push up. Martins brings us pace and yes, Keegan took him off too. But KK was able to compensate for his loss and 'go defensive' with a system that didn't mean "throw as many CBs on as possible". We won them games, remember. EDIT: My opinion on it is, for the record , withdrawing Martins isn't the sole reason for dropping points, a la Stoke. But if the game is tied, it extinguishes any possibility of a win - a la Boro. i agree, i think ashley making a shambles of the managment set up, may also have something to do with it. I personally think Keegan is the root of the blame. Crikey, how about that for a discussion! Anyone? i am a hungry fish, and i see that juicy worm on your hook, but I'm not gonna be reeled in.....

its a strange co-incidence or its true.

That was later in the season and we still didnt go down. Results are funny, just because we couldnt beat Stoke at home doesnt mean we wont go on to beat better teams just like last season.. and the season before etc etc. I think we'll win our next two games for the record. and i hope you are right.

its a recipe for disaster.

a home game against stoke is a good measure of our situation, the fact we couldnt win it . makes relegation more likely. We lost to Derby last year, so theres your predictive model out of the window. so you think the inability to beat stoke makes relegation less likely? No, I dont think its predictive of whether we stay up. We looked like being relegated last year and therefore, according to the/your/whatever criteria, the Derby loss had us nailed on as going down. no, 'read it out loud, our inability to beat stoke at home , makes relegation more likely'....ie not definate or certain, more likely, do you understand it yet.,.. try reading it again.

a home game against stoke is a good measure of our situation, the fact we couldnt win it . makes relegation more likely. Derby at home last season? Worst team in PL history and we didn't go down. You can't make assumptions based on that one fact. i am basing it on a number of factors. main ones being, the club is a shambles, players lack confidence, manager is clueless, squad is weak, inability to win,.... You're talking absolute shite mate. yes we are in a bit of a mess but for gods sake if we'd had Barton and Butt together we would have won. We were great in the first half and had a crap second half due to the lack of cm's, this was made worse by kinnear by making some odd decisions but he could have done anything and it probably wouldn't have worked simply because he didn't have the players on the bench. Football is a strange game, today we are fighting relegation 3 games time we could be 10th 6 points clear of the drop zone. and you say im talking shit,.....heres the toilet roll, clean your mouth up.

cant win, and its only slightly likely? if we can only draw with the rubbish sides, and lose to the top ones, we ARE going down. West Brom are in freefall and have lost their best striker for a couple of months. Blackburn are also in freefall and playing so badly they might just sack their manager. Stoke are not a good side and I still think we'll catch them. Hull haven't had their bad run yet. West Ham could still yet implode and have to sell their better players in Jan. Sunderland don't have a manager and are playing shite. They'll get a bit better mind. Fulham are no great shakes either. There's 7 clubs we've got a realistic chance of catching/finishing above come May. Said it before, we're not great - far from it, but there's worse clubs than us in there too. We need to finish above 3 of that lot. I reckon we'll do it. If you don't then that's up to you mate. cant win, and its only slightly likely? if we can only draw with the rubbish sides, and lose to the top ones, we ARE going down.
