I didn't calculate the bottom two correctly, changed them to the correct amounts now. The four-fold pays 9.8/1, not 4.4/1 and the treble pays 6/1, not 2.5/1.

Bit of Albert as well maybe? Fairly certain he chose it because of Albert. Remember reading an article on it somewhere after he'd been offered a different number but didn't want to switch because of the Albert influence.

He's played as a defensive midfielder for Blackburn. Ah really, I never knew that. Still, the formation posted above is a bit unbalanced because a Khiz-Smith partnership would be horribly negative. Agreed. I'd actually be tempted to stick him in defence in place of Ryan Taylor.

Agreed. Hopefully if Lovenkrands is selected on the left wing, he'll push himself up the field a little more.

Anyone else think that Everton to beat Pompey away at EVS is a good price? Also, taken from another forum I use: "Merthyr played Chippenham away last Saturday and won 5-1 (they were 4 up after half an hour). This Saturday they meet in the FA Cup (again at Chippenham) and Skybet have Merthyr at 10/3. Crazy odds in my book."

Erm... well - as far as i can recall, the kick-offs for these have all been like early afternoonish, i think. For eg the last one was at 2pm. But there's CP40 saying he'd only be good for an AM kick-off so we really want a time that's best for everyone. It's open for discussion i suppose. You playing, Ash? Will depend on the time but I won't rule it out at the minute.

What sort of time are you looking at?

I can't work out why everyone is questioning what game Guthrie will miss. We've already had a player sent off this season for two bookings, Smith against Cardiff. He missed the game against Blackpool three days later.
-
Well that lasted long...
-
Why are people assuming Butt will start on Saturday now that Guthrie's suspended?

Just had a sneaky bet on Leeds at 5/1.

Like the last cup game when we lost Shola and Jonas? f*** that! Well he should of stated that before the tickets went on sale that he was going to play a reserve team I know for a fact that the fans are not happy down there as my brother who is at the game has just text me Does he speak for every single person down there? If people are that naive to think we'd be playing a full-strength side tonight then that's their own fault.

It's the Carling Cup.
-
Scott Minto: "With all of the changes that Newcastle have made, it's clear to me that they're not really interested in the Carling Cup at all." Well no fucking shit, Sherlock.

Very pleased with that team, surprised that Butt isn't in there though. -
Superb. Rest in peace, Sir Bob.
