  1. Had my largest single bet I've ever placed on this outcome. Very pleased indeed.
  2. Can't see Everton allowing anybody out on loan unless they sign a few players. Their squad is probably only slightly bigger than ours.
  3. Arsenal youth, Man Utd youth and Man City reserves (all on loan).

I'd be more than happy with that.

http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10278~1750352,00.html I remember when a "strong" reserves side ment it had 6 senior players in it Having senior players in the side would make it weaker.

This banner that the Celtic fans took to Man City yesterday sums it up: http://i28.tinypic.com/2ut0z9l.jpg
  9. Having read what Garry Richardson actually said, it sounds like he doesn't have a clue and is just speculating like everybody else.

    NUFC Songbook

Some clown stood behind me yesterday was singing "Tim, Tim in goal" to that song, nearly pissed myself laughing every time he came out with it.

    Nile Ranger

I've got his name on my away shirt. When they announced him as the replacement for Ameobi yesterday, the guy behind me started patting me on my back.

    Jonas Gutierrez

Poor attitude today. Left Enrique exposed far too much and never tracked back. I'd fuck him off. He can be dangerous but it just isn't enough. If we do get bought before the end of the month and sign a winger who can cross, Jonas won't be missed.

So you think our wage bill is sustainable? Or you think the new owner(s) should be in charge of reducing the wage bill? He's right about what he said, especially about the income. It takes a massive hit and we need to find a way to ease the blow. Selling players, which brings in a transfer fee and also gets them off the wage bill, is one way of doing that. IF Ashley sells players to lower the wage bill he then has to sign players so he can sell the club with a full squad, I am sure any buyer would rather choose who is sold and who is bought themselves. Most clubs have a massive wage bill and yes relegation cost us a fortune but Ashley still owning us is also costing the club as fans are staying away from the club shops as well as not renewing season tickets. I just think the wage bill thing for the sale being held up is s**** and its ore to do with the £100mill asking price + other debts. some buyers may think "you do the spade work in getting rid of X,Y and Z then we'll see" that means they don't run the risk of carrying them should no decent deals be agreed. also the way i see it is that "other debts" covers the wages. Exactly. It means the new owner(s) don't have that burden, making the takeover for them a lot easier. It also means they could end up taking over a club with the wrong players sold and the wrong ones still here, plus no new players brought in. Its a risk either way but the best risk to take is the one your in control of yourself. Definitely. I was just trying to show the other side to how it could happen. I'm undecided which way is best, probably a mixture of both? The Martins deal was too good to turn down in my opinion. Getting rid of the likes of Geremi should be the next priority.

Would anybody have actually turned that down? I'd certainly have bitten their hands off, which is what we've done. If it's true we've rejected a £10m bid for Bassong, it looks like we're not just letting anybody go unless it is for the good of the club.

lol and turn a fkn light on..... Am just so angry, Harris the man that should know exactly whats going on, the man who should say fk all on it though until a deal is done, he just loves the attention all this brings him, he sits there giving it all if's, but's and maybes. Killing time is what the cunt is doing as he knows we are no closer to being sold now as we were 2 months ago. Why not just say "as far as Newcastle are concerned I cannot talk about it, we have a non disclosure agreement in place". If he'd have said that, people would have gone crazy at him. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't...
