Exactly. It means the new owner(s) don't have that burden, making the takeover for them a lot easier. It also means they could end up taking over a club with the wrong players sold and the wrong ones still here, plus no new players brought in. Would anybody have actually turned that down? I'd certainly have bitten their hands off, which is what we've done. If it's true we've rejected a £10m bid for Bassong, it looks like we're not just letting anybody go unless it is for the good of the club.
