The question was specifically about a shortlist. Is that true or did you make that up as a stick to beat Howe with?
-
The amount of you reveling in this is pathetic, probably time you all find another sport or another club
-
Really worth pointing out that despite the bravado of the post, the Bradford side wasn't full strength and saying so doesn't make it so

Maybe it's the ManU game they've trained their entire lives for? Maybe the Barcelona game in three days? Or maybe it's Chelsea after that? Or Barcelona again after that? Or perhaps the derby after that? Or the ~45 games already this season? This is the one game of their lives?

I mean surely there's such a thing as being physically tired?

Saved a goal there

I've been reading this board long enough, I don't need the same doom merchant takes being recycled. The club is going through it's best period in a generation and there's a subset of people here that think that isn't good enough. For the first time in ~20 years as a fan base we should be able to have a modicum of trust in our manager and enjoy the ride, with all the ups and downs that entails. Some people would rather not. They can go back and watch Pardew and Bruce era highlights if they want, I'm going to enjoy a champions league knockout round match against Barcelona instead.

Dokko has had consistently bad takes on Howe for ages now, best to ignore

If only we had just signed a 23 year old striker...

Miley has looked absolutely fine to me, had shown some nice touches, hasnt lost the ball, has found some clever passes and tracking runners well -

What does Eddie Howe have to do to mitigate the incessant second guessing? If we've learned anything it's that he 1) always has a plan and 2) has access to way more information than any fan regarding team selection -

I rarely post but i did want to say, and it seems rarely talked about, that he was looking like a Carrick regen before a big knee injury. Post injury his agility and ability to turn and make space wasn't the same. He fashioned himself into an effective box to box midfielder at times but when he was being linked to a big money move to ManU it wasn't without merrit. He wasn't the same player post injury but he's contributed so much to the club when there wasn't much to cheer for, and as a local lad he's lived the dream. Now please let this PSR profit generate an exciting replacement to compete with Miley. -
yikes Fair enough and probably the correct response. I'm transplanted to the UK from overseas and will only be able to make a few games anyways, but there's still something about going to a match at SJP, and having a day out in Newcastle, after well over a decade of following on TV, that really excites me. But fuck me I haven't been able to bring myself to spring for train and match tickets since I gave up my season ticket two years back and if this gets me to a match or two I'd be happy about it. That's despite everything Ashley has done to the club and I imagine as a non-newcastle native it's a lot easier for me to dissociate the two. But yeah - yikes is still probably correct.

Well if anyone would like to nominate me for a ticket PM me, it'd be much appreciated!
-
That's me sold! With the season ticket card how would I go about actually getting the ticket to whoever's buying?
-
I'm on the fence about committing to a ST this year. What are people guessing the availability will be like for member sales? Will tickets make it to general sale this season? I live a couple of hours away and don't think I'll manage every game, I'm worried, not being local, that I wouldn't be able to shift the ticket. But ooof a guaranteed seat for Rafa's return to the PL is mighty tempting.
