And I honestly think that for the last two years up until the last few months, you're exactly right, they do normally battle and fight for each other.
It just doesn't feel right at the moment on the pitch at all, not what we've been used to to for the last few seasons.
I remember during the Pardew era we'd go on these winning runs, then losing runs, and the winning runs got shorter and the losing runs longer.
It kinda feels a bit like that at the moment, but more in terms of performance. We click for a few matches, then it gets painful again.
I've learned at my own cost to underestimate Howe at my peril, but I'm not sure what else to say. It just feels like something's wrong. It's fair enough to disagree, fully respect that. Don't think it's bedwetting to want to talk about it though haha.
