We were discussing outside interests at work. When I said I was a Newcastle fan, a Leeds fan just pipped up with "one of the sportswashed lot"
hope you smacked him/her/them

On the flip side, a look inside our commercial department went some way to explaining the ticketing fiasco this summer. Christ.
embarrassing for a Premier League club, but that’s what Fat Mike left us with. the only way is up!

I have kept out of this thread for fear of spoilers, so apologies if this has been covered a million times:
Watched Ep1 the other night, went into it quite liking the humanity of our non saudi owners, but after that first episode I absolutely hate the lot of them. All absolutely awful cunts Wow, Staveley and Jamie Reuben are horrendous, the Saudi cunt is an absolute cringe. So much management bollocks, barely any humanity, just absolutely hated it all.
Loved the Longstaff and Eddie stuff, just hated every moment in the boardroom with those twats Enjoyed the bidding for Gordon bits, found that relevant to the story, but the rest seemed like awful PR stuff for crap people.
aye, it was total garbage. the second episode is so much better with a lot more focus on the team. get it watched and you’ll feel a lot better about the whole thing trust me

that’s more like it! miles better than the first episode. loved the Bruno stuff, what a bloke he is man

can’t argue it won’t be an effective deterrent, which is what they were looking for. bit of a clumsy implementation.

Think I'll go along. Should be a couple of decent games and it's a struggle for mere members such as myself to get inside SJP these days for NUFC games.
Edited. It'll depend on the ticket prices of course.
tickets have been confirmed as £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.

wait, people are actually going to this?

I absolutely love the fact he’s getting out and about it’s a good sign of his character. the lad is only 22 and can’t speak the language, yet he’s probably already seen more of the north east than some of our previous players.
there’s so much to like about what we’re building here, on and off the pitch.

Any reason why some tweets are embedding and others aren’t?
it's because of the changes that make it x.com. Elon being a massive virgin, basically.

I'm back!
Worst performance under Emery, even if first half we played some decent stuff. Reminded me of your showing at our place in that sense. Bad day at the office for us, good day for you.
Not as bothered about the result as I am about the Mings injury, though. He's not just been immaculate under Emery, he brings out the best in Konsa. He's that important for us - missed 12 games under us, we lost 9 of them and only won one.I also thought him picking up such a bad injury rattled the rest of the team.
We massively miss Moreno at LB as well, not to mention Jacob Ramsey. Digne was awful, I thought Sounds like he may be off to Saudi imminently.
One other observation - I hope we never see Bailey again. He is fucking useless and lazy with it.

Got through in place 333 this morning, but it came up with an unknown error in the ticketing bit.....I presume because I'm abroad and didn't like my IP?
Another one misses, bollocks.
eh? for the ballot? it's open until Thursday!

same shit different season

happy to see Man U haven’t improved in the slightest. gonna be a long old season of grinding out spawny 1-0 wins and convincing themselves Ten Hag is a good manager.
maybe they’ll spend another billion pounds and paper over some more cracks.

Cunha is a player

wasn’t someone on here the other day saying Old Trafford had a better atmosphere than SJP? like a fucking morgue.

shocking miss

wat. I posted that well before kick off, to pile the pressure on Ten Hag and it’s clearly worked.

Man Poo should be winning this by at least 4. Wolves are honking.
