do we really need to bump this thread every time this fat oaf rears his stupid ugly face?

no wonder the ultras seemed loud. they were tapped into the PA system
frauds

confident in saying he’s one of the best players to ever wear black and white. a proper player Tripps. he was immense again last night.
although not sure what it is, but it does seem like he may have lost a bit of confidence in his set pieces. maybe get Tonali on them for a bit.

we left the canal about half 3 and had a lovely trip up. even managed to get a beer outside the ground. fans were mingling with no problems whatsoever.
but it sounds like anyone arriving a bit later the detour was a concerted effort from the police to subdue/sober up our fans. nee wonder the atmosphere was a bit flat if people have been made to walk 2k in the blistering heat and then another absolute climb to get into the ground.
ridiculous behaviour and we wouldn’t dare treat an away support like that. the less said about the antics after the game the better. shambolic.

feel like we should throw things back a bit and go with our high press, high intensity game plan. Prem teams have worked it out, but these Italian dossers won’t have a clue how to handle it. get into them!

not sure where to put this
but in the bogs during the first half some absolute knacker having a wizz, doing a key and gagging all at the same time. then starts belting out the Gordon song with all the wrong words
different breed.

what’s the advice re: colours? can we wear our toon tops without getting stabbed in the arse?

can’t believe I’m actually going to this.
my fondest memories being a supporter were those European nights under Robson. up in level 7 next to some unbelievable travelling fans from the likes of Breda and Valarenga.
we get to be those travelling fans again, leaving an impression on the rest of Europe. this is what it’s all about! howay the lads. we’re gonna win n’all

we'll beat these

I was in Bennaz when the draw was made and I usually organise stuff so I left it in the hands of my 'capable' mates!
Milan - One of the lads driving to Edinburgh 1am Mon - 6am flight to Milan, Weds 9am - Milan to Edinburgh, then driving home
PSG - This is going to be some week! At the Darts at Minehead Weds to Mon then me and one of the lads flying Bristol to Paris 2.25pm, Weds 4.15pm Paris to Heathrow then on to Newcastle land at 9pm
So those two did well..............
Dortmund - Sun 10pm Newcastle to Dublin, Mon 7am Dublin to Dusseldorf, stopping there two nights (train to and from Dortmund match day), Weds 1.25pm Dusseldorf to Munich then on to Manchester then train to Newcastle arriving at midnight!
Quite an adventure that last one - I love my Sunday sessions so I hope I get on the first flight
haha class, that'll all be a quality experience!

Nar, it's 100% due to people not being able to pass on tickets to pals
how you getting there Paully?

interested to see where people are travelling from. anything from Newcastle seems a right fuck about. not many issues if you're based down south, flights into Italy are reasonable and the train once there will be sound.
getting down to London from Newcastle is the longest and most expensive part of it all, stupid fucking country.

Agree it makes sense but why was it being linked to Sela in the first place? We’ve got a bit of land and have people who did something similar in the city before. Was no reason for them to ever mention Sela being involved.
they're probably funding a lot of it for brand exposure. I bet their logo will be all over it, and they have to do zero of the work involved. everybody wins really!

That stack are involved at all when Sela are a company that are supposed to do things exactly like this, and big enough to sponsor a Premier League club shirt, suggests to me they might not be a proper company at all.
Stack is tried and tested, it makes complete business sense to utilise them. what were you expecting like? Sela to fly over a bunch of Saudis to run it all?
I'm not sure they'd quite understand our culture.

Don't know about this incident but it seems a nightmare night to try and go out, after just throwing away a big game in the 90-odd minute. Everyone is going to be on edge, fans and players.
Of course they still 'should' be able to go out and the blame has to go to whoever was the aggressor.
don't know about this incident, but I'm still going to post about it and get the facts wrong. classic N-O

As with any IT system who can't just buy a plug and play and it all works. It needs a lot of work to get it working with existing systems.
For example CRM is one and that needs to be linked back to the system that handles ST and Memberships.
Also I'm a developer so I'd prefer a bespoke system
I'm a developer and you're talking shite, as usual

If you don't want to be using multiple systems then you need a bespoke one.
what do you mean?

The problem is they tried to do all this in about 3 months. They were pretty clear with me that their ticketing provider had a number of limitations on what they can do - but I suspect given timings that's off-the-shelf solutions not bespoke.
well aye it's plain as day that it's been rushed. if the ticketing provider has limitations, find another ticketing provider. or better yet, leave things alone until you can figure it out.
I don't buy that at all by the way, look into them, they work with the NFL, NBA, Man City, Liverpool, etc. do we really think the limitations are at their end? the US leagues and teams in particular wouldn't stand for it. and as explained we don't need a bespoke solution, why would we? the technology and service providers already exist.

Even a new website and online booking system could easily take over a year and cost into the millions.
it doesn't need to take over a year and cost into the millions, though. they're already partnered with SeatGeek who will have a system ready to roll out to partners, it's a massive part of what they do. but regardless, point is, there's a whole industry who specialise in building solutions to solve these problems. so it's not like they need to, or should even attempt to build their own system. lean on SeatGeek, if they aren't up to snuff, partner with TicketMaster. or just anyone who knows what they're doing ffs
I'm sure it will all get sorted in time, but as I've previously said, they shouldn't have touched anything until a better solution was ready. the changes and communication has been rank amateur from top to bottom.
