  1. Had a dream that this turd spout was my football coach in 5 a side. Was lecturing us about how our town has banned cars, and only horses were allowed for transport. Brought his own horse in to demonstrate. Pitch was very slopey. Footballs were made out of plastic. No idea what the cunt was playing at.

    The cunt being my brain!

  2. -Significantly, Pardew’s team have failed to score in 14 of their last 21 league games, meaning that, in 2014, they have drawn more blanks than any side in the top four divisions. Even Tuesday’s 1-0 League Cup win at Gillingham came courtesy of John Egan’s own goal-

  3. Holy s***! Do people actually think Jack f***ing Colback is deserving of an England call up? I've heard it all now.. :mackems:

Holy s***! :mackems: Who do you think should be called up ahead of him then? Barkley and Lallana are injured, Gerrard and Lampard have just retired, and Rodwell has barely played 5 games in the past two seasons. He's there because Hodgson has to call up a certain number of players ffs. He's "next" in the pecking order, so what the hell is the problem with having a look at him?

We've taken the p*ss, and in context rightly so, out of him and the fact that Pardew wanted him to replace Cabaye. But he's our player now, and he hasn't done much wrong so far. I don't often agree with Ronaldo, but on this account I fully agree that we should wish him the best of luck. If the call-up gives Colback any additional confidence that he ups his game for us, then all the better for NUFC.

Put it this way, alarm bells should be ringing loud and clear at the FA at a time when a player as utterly average as Jack Colback is considered for an England cap. I'm fairly certain I could name at least 10 better midfield players from the Eredivisie, a competition Ronaldo himself loves to deride and often fair enough.

What does the Eredivisie have to do with the England squad and the current state of England's midfield man? The point is, one of our players has a chance to further his career and increase his football experience. Well done to him.

  5. Can't believe he's been called up for England, man.

Shows how pathetic our options are at the moment.

Given that Zat Knight got an England start during a time when we had basically the best CB options in international football, it shows absolutely nothing of the sort. Negativity for no reason, man.

It's very much en vogue to play down anything associated with us at the moment though, and with Ashley and Pardew destroying the club I don't blame the negativity. IMO Colback deserves the call-up purely based on that there aren't many that are so clearly more deserving than him in CM at the moment.

  6. I quite like Mbiwa but I'm not sure where this best defender stuff comes from. We need a new centre half so if Mbiwa goes and is replaced by someone better I'm happy. Would I rather Taylor went? Of course, but the fist pumping prick is dragging his heels and won't go.

We have Lascelles coming next year so if we signed Van Dijk to replace Mbiwa, we'd have two good young centre halves and could look at another next summer if Taylor and Colo went.

Out of the 4 first team center halves we have, and the fullbacks on our books (now that Debuchy is gone), MYM is the best natural defender of the lot, especially considering how much Coloccini's game has regressed of late.

  7. The entire national game is a complete shambles. The fact that relative cloggers like Henderson and the latter day Gerrard started ahead of Barkley for England in the world cup says it all. This is a good chance for Hodgson to formulate a new start though. With Gerrard and Lampard finally retiring, there should be new blood introduced to the international scene.

Barkley, Stones, Chambers and Shaw, along with Sterling are making it look a little brighter. It is looking rather grim for now though.

  8. What was Sanchez like tonight,  just got in and need a scouting report for my ff team

Arsenal looked a mess. Sanchez was battling with all his heart, but they didn't look great IMO. Don't like him upfront alone, they don't thread the ball through to him. Ozil is shocking.

Ozil was shocking indeed, apart from the one important ball that parted the turkish defence like red sea.
