  1. How do they plan on using Balotelli? Will he play in a front 2 with Sturridge? or central in a 433 with Sturridge and Sterling either side of him? Can't quite understand who will give way for him in the current line-up. He would apparently bring out the best in Coutinho playing alongside Sturridge, so does mean this Sterling will be making way?

So many questions, so few fucks given. Fuck off LFC.

  2. That midfield was gash. Stevie G's hollywood ball is overrated, overused, and way past its sell-by date. Teams like Citeh will sit behind and watch that all day long without much to worry about. Markovic and Can did bring a spark to that area, so they could still eventually look good in there.

Stevie G's Hollywood ball is like all passes.  Hit his target= good. Doesn't hit his target = bad.

Really? So you don't think there are passes that move the team better or create more openings than other types of passes?

Very few of Gerrard's long passes are actually effective. They remind me of Cabaye's floated corners, which even if they hit their target, are still useless and pretty much shit.

  4. yeah bad times. Still was a good day though, the king was like pretty much opposite the banner.

    Did you tell him he's a c***?

He did, but he had grass in his mouth.

I'm waiting for someone to draw this incident up in paint and post It in the paint thread

    geordie_b should do his thing

  5. We lost our momentum yesterday after Anita went off.

We lose our momentum every single time Anita gets taken off. He's not a flashy forward so doesn't get recognized as a "match-winner", but he's every bit a match winner when on the pitch due to his exceptional technical ability and reading of the game. The guy just "knows" football. We don't have too many of them in our squad let alone our first team.

  6. Lovren costing more than Balotelli

I reckon he will be a very good signing for Liverpool. Rodgers is a serious and focused manager, who is very much settled at his club, unlike Mario's two previous clubs and their circus acts. If Rodgers can get him to buy into the team ethic and spirit they have going on, he could finally realize his potential. Before moving to Juve in January 2016 of course.

  7. Cisse would look immense in front of a 3 of Cabella, De Jong, and HBA imo.

    Totally agree.

Hate to sound like a broken record but f*** Pardew for not letting us witness this. f***ing hate the slimy, cowardly, hypocritical, syphilitic prick.

This is my biggest gripe with the lying fraud. He will allow us our right to watch anything like that because in his retarded mind it risks his own job. Complete and utter charlatan who doesn't deserve to be in football.

  8. So you wouldn't bring either De Jong or Tiote back in?

I'm assuming De Jong is still injured, or coming back from the injury. Either way, I wouldn't start him, but rather ease him back in, and I would definitely want to see if Anita and Colback can continue to keep it ticking around the middle areas. The energy we had in midfield yesterday was refreshing to see, and in instances with Sissoko's bursting runs forward, it looked like a good prospect.

  9. I love the type of striker that he could develop into. His movement was very good, and he showed a few lovely turns. He is deceptively strong, and it was great to see Kompany fall flat on his arse a few times coming into contact with him. A bit of composure in front of goal, and we could be onto something decent here.

Basically Leon Best MKII, and could be much much much better if he kicks on.

  10.                                                 KRUL

    JANMAAT        WILLIAMSON                  COLOCCINI        HAIDARA

                              ANITA                            COLBACK

                                                SISSOKO

          CABELLA                                                      AARONS

                                                RIVIERE

is what I would go with at Villa. Personally want to see WILLOMBIWA once again, but as a compromise I'd give Coloccini a chance to redeem himself.

  11. You guys are harsh critics

Had the ball like twice in a very short cameo.

Even if he is raw, should be mentioned we where chasing the game too.

I'd much rather see him try and beat the fullback than Gouffran backpass to Coloccini all game long.

This. Even with his rawness and naivete, he should be starting NOW. He is playing without fear at the moment, and that is when players (and people in general) are made (or broken). If his development is stunted, if he gets fear instilled in him by telling him that he's not good enough, that could be it for good. He's been in red hot form in pre-season so let the lad carry that with him ffs. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that he can't produce what Sterling produced in his first season with Liverpool with a dozen or so starts under his belt. The key is to keep him fearless and hungry. The rest will follow. The main thing is that we need him in that position, and it's not like we'd be punting out a player who is performing. Gouffran is a fucking forward and nowt else.

  12. The ball inside for Cabella when Sissoko had the shot at the end was lush.

Aye that was my favorite moment. Sure the run and cut back before the deflected shot was class, but that little wing play then feeding an on-rushing midfielder to open up the play like that is what I love to see players do in the final third. It was the very definition of what is termed a "key pass".

  13. Sanchez falling, sliding for a bit, looking behind him and then remembering to grab his shin and grimace.

Yup. Straight from the barca school of cheating excellence. Can't wait to see to what level the bitey racist will take it when he's done being sin binned.
