  1. They're in danger of making themselves look like even bigger fools with this incident  Liverpool FC really are the gift that keeps on giving. The Gerrard slip still makes me smile, and gives me a momentary feeling that karma will always take care of things. They will never win anything with Suarez for as long as he continues to dive, cheat, or bite.

  2. The stupidest thing I keep hearing from these desperate daft scousers is that we're all jealous of how good he is, and want him out of the league to weaken their team. What utter bollocks. I don't remember wanting players like Bergkamp, Henry, Ronaldo etc.. out of the league just because of how good they were? The complete opposite in fact.

I also cannot believe his Uruguay teammates!! He has effectively ended their world cup dream and knocked them out of the competition!! Granted they are f***ing s*** in general and were probably desperate for him to play as they knew they couldn't win any other way. If one of my teammates ruined the world cup party for me in this manner I certainly wouldn't be out in the media defending him.

Karma is a wonderful thing, and both the vile club and vile c*** of a player are seeing it's ugly side now.

  3. Can't muster any sympathy at all for the "But Miss, other boys..." angle at all. It's exactly the kind of punishment to be expected for biting someone, for the third time, in the middle of FIFA's flagship competition, with aggravating factors like zero remorse and trying to deceive the referee through feigning he was the victim.

Not excessive, doesn't demonstrate any outrageous inconsistency, completely deserved, entirely his own fault. Malicious, calculated, devious, cowardly. Just like the person behind it.

Increase it for the frivolous appeal, the sport is better off without him.

Best post on the whole incident.

  4. I'm just saying, the way Suarez acts he'd rather have gotten this than 12 months of international football.  Official FIFA friendlies will count towards the 9 games won't they? He'll be able to participate in the Copa America as well...

Competitive internationals only been mentioned all over the media today. Unclear whether he can play friendlies or not, but the 9 match ban is for competitive fixtures.

  5. Liverpool are mugs. Just like those who continually get mistreated, abused and cheated on in relationships, they keep going back. They are so desperate to stick up for a vile human being who doesn't give a f*** about them and uses them to further his victim image. They were made for each other. Luckily for them J Henry will be too smart to allow this cretin to drag them through the mud yet again.

The ban isn't about Liverpool. It;s about an unsporting rogue footballer who thinks that he makes up the rules just because he can do a nutmeg or two.

  6.

 My favorite reaction post of all time. I sincerely hope this is breaking the racist rat's heart right now. I can't wait to watch Uruguay get humiliated at any point in this tournament. I also can't wait until Barcelona get drawn with Liverpool in the CL, with Suarez having transferred to the Catalan side, and for him to dive at the kop end in the last minute to earn Barca a penalty and knock LFC out of the CL.

  7.

This is getting embarrassing on a national level. The scousers are already out in full force as well portraying him as a victim  These people are blinded by the fantasy of "winning", and have forgotten the whole point of sport. I'm really looking forward to sitting back, watching, and laughing my ass off at both Uruguay and Liverpool.

  8. the uruguayans are really not coming out in good light in all this. They should have had 3 players sent off, one in each game if the refs were competent. Perreira got sent off against CR, Godin should have been sent off against England, and now Racist Rat. They're making themselves look completely desperate and pathetic.

As it were, it seems like LFC will take a very hard line with him this time. Thommo been on the phone to BeIn Sports just now saying that Suarez has "embarrassed LFC, Uruguay, all the fans, Ian Ayre, John Henry, Rodgers and anyone else who has stood by him". He also says that it is very unlikely that he will be a LFC player at the start of the season. "75% sure he will be sold". Peter Reid, Heskey, Macateer (panel) seem to think Thommo's viewpoint is a pre-cursor for what's to come from LFC in the way of official statement, as he's one of their PR mouthpieces.

  9. So blinkered and short sighted to think of ONLY the biting incident. The attempts at getting Chiellini sent off for the "elbow", the theatrics, the histrionics, the blatant stupidity of Tabares and Lugano etc.. in defending him. It all reflects quite badly on him and on Uruguay as a national team.

What if the linesman didn't see the bite but spotted the subsequent attempted elbow by Chiellini? He could have been wrongly sent off. This is the ultimate in unsportsmanlike conduct which is why Suarez should face the maximum ban/fine, and should be peddled by his club.
