Edit: No longer Saylor but Steven 'Slayer' Taylor
Slaylor surely?

Carlos Tevez and the FA Cup Final being on the 11th may just have seen us safe barring any freak results.
-
Anyone think he'll do an end of season phone-in this year?
No.
There won't be a lap of honor as well imo after the Arsenal game.
There should bloody well be a lap of apology. The players and coaching staff will most definitely want to acknowledge the fans on the last day.

Fat c*** upfront but no-one to cross the ball? Or are Santon and Debuchy expected to supply crosses?
I think Haidara was mentioned in the original post.
Also, Cabaye and Ben Arfa, as well as players like Marveaux and Anita when they play, can get into the channels and supply crosses.

I do hope that if we are ditching Puma then we are not signing up with Warrior.
yep, not that i think we'll be switching from puma in the near future but all those liverpool warrior kits are hideous
If Warrior made our kits, they would probably look like this

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew fears Yohan Cabaye burn-out
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew admits he is concerned about the burden he has placed on Yohan Cabaye this season.
Pardew blamed fatigue for his side's 3-0 derby defeat at home to Sunderland and claimed the club's run to the Europa League quarter-finals had taken its toll - especially on his playmaker.
Pardew said: "Cabaye is probably my biggest worry. The rest of them are really sound physically and mentally.
"But Cabaye is our best player in terms of intelligence on the pitch and he needs to play. That's why he has played almost every minute."
Newcastle, who sit five points above the drop zone, travel to West Brom on Saturday looking to end a run of four straight Premier League defeats on the road.
.
Stop having him run around like a daft c*** to little effect then, moron.
Absolutely. In terms of talent to effectiveness ratio, Cabaye has probably been our worst player of late. He has the talent and desire that can have a positive effect on our play in every match he plays, and unfortunately he's been almost invisible during this latest run.

Wonder if we'll be in red or marker yellow.
If HBA is alive, he must start. That is all.

How many times does Hatem skin his man and stand the ball up to the back post with his right foot?
Carroll will just peel off and dominate defences.
Wing backs with Carroll and Cisse up front with Hatem in behind is the future.
This for me, Haidara & Debuchy down the wings, Sissoko & Cabaye in the middle with Ben Arfa a little further ahead benhind Carroll & Cisse. It would play to the strengths of most the players and there' be a brilliant balance to the side.
That's mouthwatering to be honest. But the CB's need to be bloody good, as they will not have too much protection.

was waiting to see what they'd come up with for next season. Didn't think they'd top this year's kit but somehow they have.
-
Re: Simpson, also look for many last ditch goal line clearances. Just as a predatory striker has a knack of being at the right place at the right time, as does wor Daniel when on the goal line.

Chelsea almost score a fantastic team goal.
They have some amazing players, but Benitez has knit them together really well. Chelsea fans are mongs for still trying to hound him out.

Can't believe this one hasn't been mentioned yet:

Shooooooooooooooot!
I reckon after his woeful effort on Sunday the fans will now be shouting DON'T SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT.
And he'll still fucking shoot.

Ryan Taylor over the wall Ryan Taylor over the wall Ryan Taylor over the wall Ryan Taylor over the wall
Gutted for the lad.

My one criticism of Everton tonight is that Fellaini is playing far too deep. He would cause Fartesacker a lot of problems if he went up against him. I think Barkley's had a very good game, and the big mop should be alongside him wreaking havoc.

Aaron Ramsey is dogshit. So so overrated.
Who rates him these days?
Arsene Wenger for starters. Commentators?
-
Giroud wastes an outrageous amount of chances.
Only had the one chance this half though

I love the way Everton are never phased. Always in your face. They have some lovely little (and big) players, and move around the entire pitch as a unit.

Unfortunately when a lot of these numbskull idiots are clad in club colors, the club has to make a statement of some sort.

As poor as we were yesterday, I still can't shake the feeling that had Cisse's goal not been ruled out, we'd have gone on to win. We were in the ascendency and pretty much camped in their penalty area up until that point. That shocking decision turned the match and deflated us completely.
Doesn't take away from the obvious lack of desire and virtually non-existant composure, but we score there, and our tails are up. Such are the fine margins in football.
3 or 4 points that had a massive impact on the match yesterday in Jonas giving away possession, Shola coming on at HT, Cisse's goal ruled out, and the injury to Krul (meaning we had one less sub, Campbell in my mind, to throw on).
Gutting.

Surely you lot have had enough luck against us this season already, I'm going for a 3-1 win to the Baggies.
A small footnote for those attending, Dave Matthews, West Brom kit man for 50 years died suddenly this morning, hope your fans will join in with the silence or applause for the celebration of a life dedicated to loyal service to our club.
Hard to say whether our lot will come out with their tails between their legs and roll over, as we have done previously here on too many occasions for my liking, or whether they'll get their heads down, attack and fight. If its the latter, I dont see why we cant win it.
To be honest, this is a ridiculously difficult fixture to predict and has been for a few seasons, we will without Mulumbu, probably our best player this season, your form is extremely inconsistent to put it mildly, but with Europe over, you should get to safety quite comfortably.
Injured or suspended?
How's that nemesis Tchoyi doing? You won't be bringing him back for this game will you?

It's hyperbole to suddenly think every opposition player is a gazillion times better than ours, but that's what low morale will do. It is an absolute must that we pull a result out of this away trip to stop the rot.
