  1. Enter through the Player's Entrance, you use the Away (old Home) and Referee (old away) changing rooms. You get to use the dugouts. Friends and family sit in the Milburn stand. It's a quick turn around for the next guys, so don't expect too much time to take it all in. Then you're upstairs to Shearer's for a buffet type thing, which isn't terrible.

And is it a proper 90 minute match? or just a kickabout?

    30 mins each way.

    FA linesman and ref.

NUFC staff running the event. Supporters able to walk through Milburn entrance to watch game.

So I'll get to meet Andy Woodman?  :smitten:

Cheers lads. Need as much info as possible now, as trying to organize a trip out from Cyprus is already a bitch of a task.

When Stu said 'NUFC staff' he meant more like Newcastle United Foundation staff.

 I figured man. Let a boy dream ffs.

  4. Do you also get the chance to use the facilities? Dressing rooms, dugout etc.? As in, how much of a "shabang" is it? A fellow toon solider is getting married the following week and we're thinking of flying out there for the bachelor do. The groom is a forum member, so it would potentially be just him and myself taking part in the game. The rest of the fellas aren't fans but would happily watch from the stands.

Love for this to work out like.

  5. I think it's a mistake to add the game and the scoreline, it was better with just the goalscorer and goal time. Then there's a bit of insider knowledge about them, you can see if people know where the goal is from, you can explain it to them etc.

I would keep it as simple as possible with the text.

I disagree with this. These goals are memorable events and having the score and date provides context of the day. Makes it more memorable.

By the way if this hits big time, you might want to consider filing some sort of patent or intellectual property protection. Otherwise some f***er will just copy your idea.

The creation celebrates the goal though. That in itself is a memorable event. Some great or significant goals have been scored by teams who ended up on the losing end as well. Maybe PR can give you the choice of having the whole match commemorated.

Agree with the second part. Get on it pronto mate.

Agree completely with Ian here. Could be the real "quirk" that always comes with successful marketing.

"Less is more" type of thing.

  7. Cabayes tackle was terrible, but it wasn't malicious so a retrospective ban would've been terrible. I just think by the time it happened the whole team was sloppy in challenges, possession, we just had no more gas to run on. So his challenge was late, but it wasn't malicious. Those types of tackles happens late in the game, and Cabaye and especially Sissoko looked knackered.

 that's the way I saw it as well.

  8. After a day of reflection, I can say that I'm not too disappointed with the result of this game. I was content enough with the display but the Spurs goals were rather soft ones to give away, especially from a defensive point of view.

Donkey Kong Bale was the difference between the two sides, he was on his game yesterday and he took advantage of our weaknesses but as always he was also his c*** self. On another note, before this season, I've always regarded Martin Tyler as being one of the best commentators around but his constant w*** over Bale (and Suarez earlier on this season) was very irritating and he's pretty much quickly descending into the Clive Tyldesley category of commentating. Shame.

Tyler is all voice man nowt else.
