Can't understand the genuine hatred Liverpool fans have for Hodgson.

The hatred is misplaced, and he's just the scapegoat. They hate that while clubs around them strengthened, they went and got someone whom they perceived as below "Liverpool standard". They are just jealous of the teams around them, and that is manifested in their "hatred" for Hodgson as they see his reign as the beginning of their stalled (20 odd year) progress towards the title.

Think it was Cajun who compared him to Man U's Fletcher, and I think that comparison is spot on for Jonas in this formation. Absolutely transformed his value to this team playing central. Looks to be really enjoying himself too.

Woah!!! No way! Fletcher can't pass a ball to save his life, does the covering bit and play break up but loses more possession than accomplishing passes...

I liked Jonas on the left wing, thought he offered us an outlet but him in the middle is perfect, he's our player of the season alongside Colo...

I will not believe anything until I see the table after the final whistle goes on the last day of the season. Too good to be true. Living in dreamland at the moment. This squad deserves to be playing in the CL imo. They have earned it. What a feeling.

The main thing for me is that he doesn't hide. His talent, technique, and football understanding is there for all to see, and goes without saying. It seems he's made of stern stuff though the way he's gone about his business at a new club in a new league etc...
