Don't quite understand why people think it is almost certain for this appointment to be a failure? They have signed someone "obscure", who seems like a promising footballing personality. At this point in time I can see Rodgers failing at Liverpool as much as I can see him bringing them success. Hasn't Pardew's appointment taught anyone anything? Rodgers, FSG and Liverpool might just be a good match for each other.

Naturally I hope this all ends in tears for them, big time.

I'd w*** myself  to death if we get Mbiwa and Deubuchy. From what I've seen of Mbiwa on youtube he looks like he's strong, fast, solid in the air and has a good technique. Deubuchy could likely happen, but I'll very surprised if we're capable getting Mbiwa too.

Just today I read two posts referencing the Liverpool Way; One said the club should follow the Liverpool way and keep things behind closed doors while another said the club should follow the Liverpool way and respect supporter by informing them on what is going on with the club.  To me these two points seem at odds with one another.

 

So I am kind of struggling to truly understand what the Liverpool way is.  Maybe what I think it is is not truly what it is.  So I was hoping to hear from other supporters
