Sounds like a double team jobby on Iniesta

All this pre-match Cabaye praise = guaranteed stinker
He's only had 1 decent game anyway IMO. Didn't really shine v England.
Au contraire mon ami. I thought he had a very good first game. He kept the ball moving and fed Nasri and Ribery time and time again. Also had a few good efforts on target. The standout performer for France by a mile in this tournament.

When people class hitting the post as a shot 'on target'.
The target is the area enclosed between, not including, the posts.
Aye also like last night when Pearce said 'the post saved Cech there' when Ronny hit his freekick, saved him from what? It couldnt possibly have went in as it was wide of the goal.
What if it goes in off the post??
Am guessing you never saw the shot then?
Cech got fingertips to it! Was a brilliant save like.

The Greek Cypriots here are confident that Greece will knock Germany out of the Euros tonight.

Can't wait to see the silver fox back on the touchline like. This off season lark is shit

He wants first team football and who can blame him? He has seen first hand what staying here has done to Harper's career, at 24 he will only go backwards as a keeper staying here so how is that good for either party?
Not debating that. It's totally understandable. But what happens from the club's point of view if Krul gets injured? Would you be confident in Elliot or Harper filling in? It's not like Forster has been rotting in the reserves of late. He's played quite a bit for Celtic, and has had European experience as well. So I don't think he's going backwards. He could mind nets in cup ties next season.

Don't understand why this lad won't stick around to see where we are headed as a club. Surely he must be impressed and excited by the events of last season, coupled with the players we are looking to bring in to improve the squad. Who knows? An injury to Krul (Jah forbidding) could see him starting league games. Having two capable (and now relatively experienced) goalkeepers has got to be one of our priorities if we want to move up to the next level.

I might be pointing out the elephant in the room but Germany, Spain, England are the most likely winners atm. Tbh I hope England get to the final, I have a few english cousins and my favourite football club is english. They can do it, Hodgson has them tough to get past. Lest hope I'm right, right?
I reckon if England reach the final, they will win it.

If he's Best replacement and not Ba
Even if he does turn out to be Ba's replacement then at least we're replacing him with quality.
-
Will they still be playing at the Reebok Stadium though?
-
I don't like seeing jonas on the bench.
Even on peoples imaginary starting 11s
tbh

Is he the guy who was partnering Agger? If so, yes!How about ?

He was the worst defender in Italy last season.
Was he? He's done well at the Euros though, which is all I have to go on tbh

It all depends on him really. If he wants to come here, he will force his club's hand to accept the closest valuation. Player power these days dictates this type of transfer. As someone said just above, Lille should expect a transfer request soon.

Was absolutely everywhere yesterday. My word what a player this fella is. Didn't he also get all his shots on target? I believe 3 were deflected out for corners, and 2 were well saved by Hart. Judging by the replays, the 3 deflected shots were all goal bound.
And that through ball to Ribery

There has been a lot of fuss about the Swedish away top and I just don't get it. Decent, but nothing special.
Thought Ukraine's home shirt looked better. Love the trim across the chest.

The very definition of a marauding full back. This guy alone could take us up a notch if he's added to the current squad.
-
Liverpool supporting friends already calling him "Brendan".
"Can't wait to see who Brendan will sign"
"Have you seen Brendan's possession stats with Swansea? Only second to Barcelona in the whole of Europe"
"I'm sure Brendan can convince Cavani and Ben Arfa that their future is at Anfield"
I can't for the life of me imagine referring to the NUFC manager, whomever he may be at the time, by his first name!
"Alan is a right cheeky bastard"
-
Didn't Pardew once openly admit that we tried to sign Matuidi to play him in a midfield 3 with Tiote and Cabaye? Maybe Anita is being looked at for the same purpose?
