Never really cared much for S Korea footballing wise. Was always a neutral when it came to most of your games and even wanted you to beat Greece in the WC. Now that I know your true feelings, I will support anyone playing against S Korea with the power of a thousand suns
always thought east asians were racist and sort of up themselves a bit. now i know it
I have nothing against your people, just how you go about playing football. You're basically accusing somebody of being anti-semetic just because they can't stand Tottenham Hotspur.
Really, who's being prejudiced here Mr. "I always thought East Asians were racist"?
Oh and you can accuse me of anything you want, but f*** tottenham hotspur and all tottenham supporters
Wish there was a yarmulke smiley.
'mon the Aussies.

What match was it where the ref overruled the linesman, sending the keeper off even though the lad he took out was offside?
Japan - Syria.
Ref said it was the Japanese player who touched the ball last, therefore Syrian attacker not offside. Rubbish decision tbh, and so was the penalty he gave Japan later in the game.

Koo Ja-Chul with his third goal of the tournament.
Yah, missed it while I was fixing lunch. Now that I see the repeat it was pretty awful defending by Australia, he was lone in the box.
I agree, terrible defending. West Ham-esque.
and again

http://www.competition.dz/Actualite/-Ziani-:-Wolfsburg-fait-une-concession-d’1M€
Update this morning, Wolfsburg have lowered the asking price by €1m (they reckon €5m inc that weird €2m bonus if we get into Europe) which will speeden up any transfer.
i hope it speedens up something at least

First of all, you're the one who said if you can't take the banter, to get out. I was going to add "ignorant" to the above comment, but decided against it. I kind of said a similar thing to raconteur there, but a little more harshly
Lebanon didn't (and don't usually) qualify so I couldn't really give a shit who wins the tournament, and I wouldn't say that Lebanese money ever got us any favorable refs. A lot unlike WC2002

It seems I've stumbled across something of a grudge from N-O's GCC contingent
If you don't like my mini-rants here's a full on one. Arabic players dive and play-act so much they make Stevie G look honest. Arabic teams play 10 behind the ball and then engage in disgraceful time wasting until the final whistle the minute they nick a goal. Arabic refs blatantly favor Arabic teams to an embarrassing degree for both international and club competitions. And Arabic nations have used their money and influence to wrest control of AFC and ensure that a blind eye is turned to all of this time and time again.
If you can't take the banter just get out.
And f*** me I'm honestly curious here, if they're not Arabic what on Earth is the proper cultural and geographical classification to be used for Iran? Enlighten me.

anyone catch iraq vs iran? by far the most superior match in terms of quality until now. it was all iraq throughout, but iran managed to nick it
Yep watched it yesterday, thought Iraq were unlucky as they played well and had the game well in hand but rubbish defending lost it. Iran not imprest with them, having said that they've had a good a good run against Iraq but whether it continues against them is open to question, the Iraq No10 looked canny but not sure where he normally plays.
That would be Younes Mahmoud? Credited with their goal when it was actually the no.7's Emad. Iraq are a great attacking outfit

Would love to see China get a reminder that they're terrible at this by dropping out of the group stages.
But I want to see Qatar crash and burn as well.
I've just realized that South Korea, Uzbekistan, Australia, and India are the only teams in this tournament I don't hate with a passion
You won't win this tournament
-
Wow
That Ali lad from Qatar isn't bad at all.
Very disappointing from China, they came into this tournament with a lot of promise but they haven't been showing it. No fight whatsoever.
2-0 at ht is very good for Qatar. Bruno Metsu has them playing well, but they could still throw it away 2nd half.
2 excellent goals btw

what a goal by Qatar! 1-0 on China

The thread title is retarded

Saudi Arabia have sacked their manager after their unexpected 2-1 loss to Syria.
New man Nassar Al Johar is their 58th manager in the past 57 years, and also their 12th in the last decade.
Compared to this lot NUFC is a paragon of stable employment.
Love how they sacked him in the middle of a major tournment
Nasser Al Johar has been managing them at least once every 3 times they change a manager, he was their manager when they lost 8-0 to Germany in 2002.
And replaced Milen Matchala in 2000 after being sacked after the first group game of the 2000 Asian Cup. He flies with the team, stays at a different hotel, and should shit hit the fan, he's your man. Simples.

What's Andre Ayew up to these days? Loved him in the world cup

Said it before but I wish we'd go for Adam Hammill.
Definitely on the move this window, for £500k we really couldn't go wrong. Really rate the kid, not as good as Adam Johnson but a similar kind of player. Good dribbler, good pace, can strike the ball well and play on either flank.
Great video on a certain video site showing what he can do "The Best of Adam Hammill 2008-2010".
Routledge looked amazing in the CCC last season. Still though for £500k its an option for when Jonas isn't producing.
He's a much better footballer than Routledge. Scored more goals this season than Routledge has since leaving Palace!
He's genuine Premier League class imo, everytime I watch him play he's sublime. Great allround winger and only 22.
I'm with you on this one. If we miss out it would be a travesty.

Vermaelen is quality and we really miss him when he's not playing, I think Djourou has been brilliant the games he has played this season and when Kos + Djourou had partnered eachother we have kept more clean sheets than ever! I think if we can get a 30 league game pairing of Djourou + Vermaelen next season I'd be ecstatic, they will be class together!
We certainly don't need a goalkeeper now, Fabianski looks like a number 1 for me, now.
Squillaci has been very poor and should be nowhere near, I'd rather have kept Bartley and played him what I've seen of him this season he's been very good.
It would be a dream come true to be able to play Djourou-Vermaelen against Barca but I think we won't see Vermaelen this season now, unfortunately.
Truly the stuff of dreams
I have different types of dreams though

Clarkie's win percentage is just off 50%. Not bad
Was that before or after Plymouth scored in the first minute tonight?
Huddersfield 3-2 up and it's not even half time
-
But won't most of them have their own bias to/against certain players, teams and referees? I agree there should be a change, but wouldn't think that'd be a good way of going.
Let's say you could take a panel of senior players and coaches from the championship to rule over premiership incidents and vice versa. Less of an agenda to be biased then
-
It makes more sense to play Saylor in Tiotes position rather than Smith. I'm sure he coud do a decent job there away from home.
You on crack? Taylor would be on his behind the entire game
-
Fuck the FA. I say it's the PFA or LMA that should review cases like this. How many in the FA played football? The other two consist of current pro's who are maybe in a better position to judge.

Owen is a skid mark on the club's history fact sheet.
Didn't Sir Les score the last goal at Joker?
