West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll

I reckon we are witnessing the rise of a true great striker. Long may it continue. Getting better and better every game. -
I think his hands are too fat to fit into his pockets, the c***. You can only hope he will protect his investment even if it means a couple of mill here and there. Hopefully Gosling will have a bit about him that will give us a bit more spark. Good shout. Would be good to see him take the mantle of understudy to the Cheiky Bastard

woeful today. unlike him. at least he will get some rest!

don't think he looked out of place at all. wasn't great or anything, but he didnt look out of depth, which is how smith has looked for a couple of seasons, bar a handful of games. imo he was much better against Chelsea than against Arsenal where he looked a bit pedestrian. Needs games naturally. Nee fucker will ever develop sat on the bench. Teenager or not, he can't do worse than Smith.

That sounds about right. The t*** fouls Colo twice in that run, which is why Colo went out for retribution. I understand when two big lads run at it full pelt there will be contact, but Colo should've gone for the ball rather than let it bounce. Fair do's I suppose for making the wrong decision. if carroll done it you'd be screaming he just muscled him out. colo also had a fist full of shirt at one point. he got mugged and had a s*** game, just be honest. and where did I say that it wasn't Colo's fault? IMO he was fouled, but it served him right not to get the decision due to said cock-up. Colo was an embarrassment to himself today, and there's no two ways about that.

Rather give Vuckic a game than see Smith playing there again! If Hughton wants to keep Smith then he should look to use him as an emergency striker. Other than that, the lad should be sold. His entire NUFC career has been the same old shit. Not needed at the club. Should go on and try to end his playing days somewhere else.

You're quite right. At the Leazes iirc.

I thought Albert was the glue that held our defence together in an awful lot of games. I was young, though. Steve Howey was the main man for me. Albert was the boisterous exotic sweeper type (when fit), but if you wanted blood and thunder Howey provided it (when fit). Never forget his late late goal against Blackburn.

Not much that I can remember either apart from "scoring" the "phantom goal"
