Not blaming any individual player but the midfield just isn’t working either as a defensive shield or a platform to generate chances. Not sure if it’s fatigue, tactical or what but the ‘best midfield 3 in the PL’ was always a stretch but now it’s a joke. Howe needs to get to grips with this issue.

Pope/Ramsdale is the epitome of Rafa’s short blanket. That being said I think Pope would have saved a couple of the goals Ramsdale has conceded in the last couple of games. He’s got the obvious deficiencies but he’s a great shot stopper.

Game management has been shit all season. Those subs with two minutes to go beggars belief.

I think we overestimate how good our players are. A lot of them are living off reputation. Thiaw wasn’t a regular starter at Milan. The fans didn’t seem to care less when he left. He’s immediately the best player in our starting 11.
