  1. Cometh the hour, cometh the man.
  2. My mate’s a Charlton fan he’s just said Charlton have put out a second string.
  3. Which does beg the question, where were those fuckers around 89-91 when we’re sometimes down to 16,000?
  4. KK is our Shankly, Busby, Bill Nicholson. He has no peers and will always be my absolute hero.
  5. Hope this isn’t the end, there’s a genuine case to say he’s been the club’s best ever CB when you take everything into account (cost, goals, passing ability etc). Never let the club down.
  6. Been the main problem all season and Howe has ignored it.
  7. Fucking hell man Leeds are shit, they’re hard working but we can still win this. Get an early goal in the second half and we’ll go on and win.
  8. We’re due to wallop someone very soon. A bit of luck and it could have been 4 or 5 - 1 on Sunday even if the performance didn’t merit it. Leeds looked very limited against Man Utd, considering it was their big cup final I thought they were second best overall. They are also amongst the biggest cunts in the entire footballing pyramid so hoping for a 4 or 5 nil.
  9. Let’s do the right thing and bring Anderson and Longstaff back to field a Geordie triumvirate midfield.
  10. They looked very limited against Manchester Reds today. Hope we smash them.
  11. Can’t fault his effort, if anything maybe he’s trying too hard. Would benefit from being a bit more measured in possession. He’s charging around the pitch at 100 Mph. Proper helter skelter stuff.
  12. Really good today, mopping up all over the pitch and recycling possession well. A towering presence at corners too. Well done Joe.
  13. Some decent individual showings, Miley, Joe, Thiaw. Still look vulnerable in front of defence and we were sliced open again for Hughes’ miss at the end.
  14. Big Joe looking quite sharp, getting around the pitch very smoothly too.
  15. The sort of offside that enrages fans, barely even visible to the naked eye. I do hope Wissa isn’t one of those offside magnets though. As Hall progressed the ball Wissa was halfway into Leazes Park.
  16. We’re doing quite well here, just the perennial final ball and a bit of individual sloppiness, largely Murphy.
  17. Absolutely loved the World Cup since I was old enough to remember. It’s not as if it’s competing with club football and you have to choose. Yes every facet of football is now riddled with corruption but in some ways international football is still one of its purest forms.
  18. He’s got the positional discipline and the technique for that CDM role.
