  1. Wow, great start to extra time too.
  2. Arsenal did a Newcastle who did an Arsenal before a Newcastle became an Arsenal.

That's one of those blood-curdling defeats you think about and go "wow, we are actually really, really, quite shit."
  4. Fuck! An equaliser! I bet Basingstoke are delighted.
  5. Apparently Bradford took about 5,000, fair play. Probably equalling the Wigan fans no doubt.

The "we're only a couple of players from a good side" / "we have the foundations of a good team" is vintage, unjustified guff said by supporters of a team consisting of shite football players. Desperation.
  7. Only just noticed he was even on If I could think of someone who would be helpful when getting twatted away from home in the League Cup at Reading, it would be someone who is the exact opposite of Andrey Arshavin.
  8. It seems the volatile, passionate atmosphere of, err, Reading, has really got the Arsenal fans going. Must be battling it out over the remaining pasta salads.
  9. Fans behind the goal (heavily) breathe a sigh of relief.
  10. De Vita and McEachran aren't even playing In a way, that's impressive.
  11. Epileptic Fridge Boy, I think.
  12. Will this be like Shit Creek from last week?
  13. Gerrard's comments are symptomatic of the delusion of Liverpool Football Club. From top to bottom that club is detached from reality. He's obviously bitter about not winning the game and there's no doubt Suarez's goal should have stood, but the arrogance of coming out with stuff like he did is mind-boggling. He didn't even pick a game where we actually did use the long ball loads, as the stats proved in somewhat embarrassing fashion for him. Fwiw, we do use the long ball sometimes - just like every single team in the league - other times we play some nice stuff on the ground, I think we've got a decent mix. Maybe he, and Liverpool, feel threatened that their neighbours are getting better while they get worse? His comment of "Everton are not better than us" screams of total desperation. On a wider scale though, it sums up everything Liverpool are. What have we heard game after game from their manager? "We played well" / "We should have won" / "If we play like that regularly we'll win" and of course, his favourite, "It's the referee what did it!" Maybe, just maybe Brendan, your team just isn't that good? And how can we forget the nauseous fans who are permanently stuck in a world where Liverpool were significant players at the top of the league table? Things aren't helped by a generally sympathetic media who help to massage their collective egos. What I find odd about the game at the weekend for example was as well as the disallowed goal - which, you can't get away from, was a crap decision - attention has been drawn as to whether our 2nd goal should never have come about due to it being their throw-in. I see very little has been made of Sterling's abysmal dive for the free kick for their 2nd goal, the not insignificant amount of fortune involved in their 1st, or even the 2 very nasty challenges on Mirallas (wonder what would have happened if he stayed on?) and Distin. Y'know what, fuck them. Enjoy your mediocrity, Steven, you classless, cheating cunt.
  14. Still amusing me, that. I love Ethi.
  15. Such moronic comments. To be expected.
  16. I think the biggest compliment you can give Messi is that Ronaldo is extraordinarily good yet a fairly distant 2nd.
  17. I'd give it to CR, Zlatan, Falcao, Pirlo, Ozil and Van Persie all before i give it to Iniesta. He was poor last season for Barca and for Spain he wasn't head and shoulders above the rest. It's an individual award for individual performances over a year and i honestly don't think Iniesta should be anywhere near the top 3. My top 3 would personally be Messi, CR, Pirlo. With all due respect, you have got to be off your fucking tits. Think whatever you like about the various players but saying he shouldn't be anywhere near the top 3 is a ludicrous statement. And Ozil before Iniesta? Give over.
  18. ADN chips it down the middle like the sexy fucking bastard he is.
  19. Udinese penalty with 5 mins left.
  20. I think that's an admirable feat tbh.
  21. aye, how are Roma so bad at defending Zeman. Easy to forget how many clubs he's managed, it's insane. Over 15 according to Wiki.
  22. Just another example of the disgracefully bad and biased media coverage we have in this country. Happens in Sunderland v Newcastle, it's barely even mentioned. Happens in a game between 2 of their darlings and it's magnified and analysed 10 times.
