  1. What the fuck have you been drinking Beren?
  2. They'd be mad not to play him. He's playing superbly. What my colleague is trying to say here, Kaka, is he's likely to be dropped.
  3. I dunno, the face just amuses me.
  4. Such an offensively bad piece of football, he gets sent off.
  5. Hope Bale, N'Zogbia and Dempsey (sorry) do something this weekend. They've all done nowt in the 5 games they've collectively played.
  6. Don't think I'll make any transfers, but very tempted to play Vorm and Nathan Dyer.
  7. What are your thoughts on Bruce as a whole? Do you not think he's cracking up a bit with his comments post-Newcastle and post-Brighton?

    Sunderland...

There is no way Bendtner will play for f***ing Sunderland. £££££££££££££££ They are skint, man. Only if they sell will they be able to buy a player like Bendtner. They've hardly touched the £44M they got for Bent and henderson. Bent was £18m rising to £24m maximum. Over £6m of that went straight to Spurs. Henderson was £16m I think. Rising to £20m. £34m in guaranteed payments from those 2 transfers, minus £6m = £28m. £8-9m rising to £12m on Wickham. Gardner for £6m. O'Shea £4m. Elmo £2m. Dong £2m. Wes Brown £1.5m. O'Shea and Brown in particular will be on significant wages I imagine. Total fallacy that Sunderland haven't spent much. By my calculations, nearly all of the money they can actually count on making from the sales of Bent and Henderson, has been spent by Steve Bruce in the summer.

    Sunderland...

Quite right as well. It's not like he's been given the funds, nor gone out and hand-picked 2 strikers this summer already.

    Sunderland...

Taking after their manager. "La la la la, this never happened." Bruce probably insists they dominated talks with Barton's agent but they just need to get that signature next time.
  11. You haven't placed any money on it, have you? Man Utd will almost certainly be bet on this weekend by yours truly. Man Utd is the team I've got absolutely no doubts about tbh. Only Liverpool I'm not 100 % about. Thought exactly the same. Chelsea will surely win in some form vs Norwich, even if it's not a big win. Man Utd at home to Arsenal... the way things are going, there's only one winner. Liverpool.... not 100%, can see Bolton nicking something. So I guess I was completely lying with my previous post. But regardless, has a very good chance. What are the odds for that accy?

  13. Can't really see how that can't win, mate. I also apologise to you in advance.
  14. That first accy, Messi, looks really good. So I apologise in advance.
  15. Quite amusing that Mascherano feigning injury actually prevented Villa from almost certainly scoring, or setting up a goal.

    Alan Pardew

We're dogshite when that happens If a team sits deep against us, they've won. We pass it sideways, try a few punts, which they mop up with their gargantuan Hangeland of a defender (and in this case, it is Hangeland ), we pass it sideways, we realise we lack penetration to break down a side that sits back, we get flustered, the crowd gets panicky, we surrender possession at the back, they score, we lose. Yep. Happens time and time again. Seen Newcastle do this as well. Seriously man, we do this so many times. Case in point - a whole 6 days ago.
