  1. Lyon will have a considerably higher coefficient. Same reason Dortmund, Napoli and Man City are so low by their current standards.
  2. Potentially: Barcelona, AC Milan, Man City, Dortmund (or Napoli). Unbelievable.
  3. Dunno if there's a thread for this, and it'll probably get merged with other games today but anyway. Can we see anyone other than Barca winning it again? The pots: Pot one: Man Utd, Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Porto, Inter Milan Pot two: Shakhtar Donetsk, Olympique Lyonnais, Villarreal, AC Milan, Valencia, Marseille, CSKA Moscow, Benfica Pot three: Zenit St Petersburg, Man City, Olympiakos, Ajax, Bayer Leverkusen, Basel, Lille, BATE Borisov Pot four: Borussia Dortmund, Dinamo Zagreb, Napoli, Apoel, KRC Genk, Trabzonspor, Otelul Galati, Viktoria Plzen
  4. And here's me thinking 0-0 was a possibility. Glad you've informed me of that.

    The Arsenal

He looks promising, sure. But he'll make mistakes this season because he's young. Still, mental strength and all that, ey, Arsene?
  6. In past years, Arsenal have got consistently lucky with their groups. Hope they get Villarreal from Pot 3 and Dortmund/Napoli from Pot 4.
  7. Actually, that's total garbage. I lost on Tuesday due to QPR 0-2 Rochdale. Leaving it until the weekend, anyway.
  8. Was last week, but lost the past couple of times. Had this midweek off to avoid shitting away the rest of my account.
  9. Go on GrandOldTeam if you want some perspective.
  10. Ross Barkley is eligible to play for Nigeria.
  11. Don't think many people would've predicted Richard Cresswell and Victor Anichebe would score for us tonight.
  12. 3rd frame expression, man.
  13. Fucking hell Nixon, you're so fucking funny.
  14. Emnes is only 23! I thought he was 28/29.
  15. Not competitive but another 3 in the Joan Gamper Trophy last night.
  16. Udinese vs. Arsenal on ITV1 tonight. Barcelona vs. Porto, Super Cup, Friday - ITV4.

    Sunderland...

They always do reasonably well against clubs like Chelsea. Not against Chelsea. They had that 3-0 win last year, sure, but otherwise, I seem to recall them having many heavy defeats to Chelsea.

    Other clubs' transfers

Forlan to Inter apparently not far off.
  19. A bit of sour grapes but still, refreshingly honest views.

    Sunderland...

Played there part. Code for played us off the park and won Bruce: "We had long spells of possession." Reality: Brighton had 53% possession. Bruce: "We need to take our chances." Reality: Didn't create many good chances. Fact: Bruce has had plenty of funds to buy strikers. He bought strikers. Reality: Didn't start any. The man's getting desperate. Can't see him lasting much longer unless something dramatically changes.
  21. You know what I've missed about you, KI? Absolutely fuck all. You should post more.

    Other clubs' transfers

Don't really see him as a natural winger. But I guess he's the closest we come to having one.
