  1. Thought he was blowing out of his arse after an hour tbh. To be expected playing as a lone striker away from home and he put a shift in but he looked completely fucked. He may even be human. His work-rate was fantastic, yeah. Possibly to be expected with him being young, up for it, and all that. Good try Messi btw.
  2. Interestingly hasn't looked to have a goalscorers instinct in the very little we've seen of him so far. Done a cracking job leading the line on his own mind, worked his bollocks off and there's plenty in his game to offer hope. That's the thing - certain aspects of his play are mature, considerably beyond his years. Wish he was a bit more direct though in terms of having a pop at goal, he seems scared to shoot at times.
  3. Ranger was frustrating to watch. One minute, he was holding it up, using his strength, the next... he was floating about the left wing looking totally lost. There was one incident in the 2nd half where there was a cross from the right pulled back, begging for someone to arrive and tap it in for 2-0... but Ranger was nowhere near. Frighteningly simple common sense I'd say. But, don't want to be too harsh on him.
  4. We were atrocious in the 2nd half today, Fulham were on top without playing well. And yet I still wouldn't be surprised if we finish above Villa and Spurs. Btw djmattis, is your grasp of English football as wretched as your prediction about Everton suggests it is?
  5. But that's what you need in this division, that standard will see you go up. Aye, Cardiff had the better of it overall, but what real work did Harper actually have?
  6. Blimey, a 10/1+ one that came off!
  7. My question is; how is everyone so good at drawing!? I'm fucking atrocious!
  8. Back of the net! how much and well done. £5 stake £278 returns. Bloody hell, where from? Those are amazing odds. I'd have classed Pool, Chelsea and WBA as virtually certs, with Blackburn, Sunderland and Boro all being very likely. Only 2 I'd have been edgy on.
  9. Sorry. Think I was a bit rash, should've gone for something based on draws. I'm usually fairly accurate with Everton games but I haven't a clue on this occasion, whatsoever. Could easily go all 3 ways, identical points, just comes down to who turns up on the day.
  10. That's freaky how accurate that is, haha. Very good work.
  11. 2005 then march 2007 then this one. Sometimes the stats don't tell the full story. And IMO they don't tell the story he's a fucking dirty bastard who's got away with loads in the past. Wigan a couple of years ago, last day of the 07/08 season I believe, sticks in the head.
  12. Brazil-Zaire, guy came out the wall and smashed the stationary ball. I think it was Zaire anyway.
  13. Some real hunger from Man Utd's midfield, and Berbatov and Rooney causing havoc in between Spurs' midfield and defence.
  14. That's tonight's wine & cider paid for. Are you suggesting's it's 95% luck? Howay Jill. Think I shall be embarking on a series of small-ish stakes but likely ones. An empire will be created. Sure! Don't know whether to risk any bets for tomorrow, or hang fire for a few days. Quite like the Italian league, usually decent value, but there's only been 2 games so far.

  16. Man City? No, my tip at the start of the season. Chelsea. But City beat Arsenal. City 1st, Spurs 2nd defz.
  17. Huh? Pool, Blackburn, Boro and WBA infront, Watford and Sunderland drawing, I'd expect Chelsea to... Chelsea 1-1.
  18. Balls, I didn't see Sheff Utd kicked off at 1. I hope mine isn't over before 3pm! Got another one for £293 on though. Equally unlikely.
